here is one of the jobs I had for the final version of the past and future design. I used xi’s fonts as a base to make the credits page. I ended up using these two artworks as my spread design. Finally for my bio page since my theme was somewhat nostalgic, I found an image that goes with that theme.

Here are my two concepts for the final project. In the first one I have two clocks on the edge with only 1 handle; one of the hands is going up, to represent past and the other is going to the right to represent the future. These clocks continue to the back of the page, which I I’m thinking of adding the word present, since when the viewer finishes reading it that would be their present.
For the second concept I took the idea of hanging pocket watch and connected it to any letter T. I also used the string/ chain the attached to the clock to divide the page.
I include two images to kind of represent the idea I was going for. Furthermore, I tried to find different synonyms for time (past and present), but none of them seemed to work. So I thought of doing g something with the moon and sun, since they’re parts of time, but then I remembered a previous already had something dealing with that, so I trashed that idea.

in case zoom/pronto do not work. here is an update of my cover design. to mimic my myriad cover of water, I made the font end have curves. This font was the only one with curves that was readable, so I kept it. Furthermore, I changed the star page breaker to waves and then made EL CAMINO MYRIAD 2020 a little blurry my duplicating it and putting it behind the original. I did this to mimic how things become blurry and and hard to see in the water.

Thumbnail revisions. I don’t have illustrator so I’m unable to fully complete. I should be getting illustrator this week so I’ll be able to finish the cover.

My trial for adobe apps has currently ended, so I don’t have the programs to edit my myriad cover; however, I was thinking of just revising these two when I do get adobe apps back and placing symbols/ fonts about covid-19.

Here are some black and white flyers that I found. A good amount of these flyers use a centered composition to direct the eye. However, there are some that use diagonal lines to lead the view eyes from the headline and into the sub sections. Overall most of these flyers try to keep the composition simply. I would say the top middle flyer looks a bit busy and kind of makes my eye wonder for everything, yet adding a picture really adds an artistic and fun element to the flyer, which I think would really help to draw in its attention from viewers.
