Trip to Tenerife
In the beginning of winter break I had a time for one week before I went back to Russia. I decided to go to some warm place and I found out that there is only one place in the entire European Union where was really hot weather. It was an island which belongs to Spain - Tenerife.
So, I had a long, five hours flight after which I finally got to this wonderful place. As it was December I was freezing in Berlin but on Teneriffe it was about +25°C and I was extremely happy about it as I felt like I arrived to a paradise.
I went there with my sister and her boyfriend, we were renting a flat right next to the ocean so we could see the coast from our balcony moreover to my surprise it was pretty cheap. At first sight, Tenerife seemed to me quite an old island like from the 90-s since there were such game centres which I have not seen for a long time, old bars and restaurants like I saw in movies when I was a kid. However after a couple of days living there, I realised how cool that island is. I enjoyed jogging by the embankment near the ocean early in the morning and doing some warming-up exercises on the top of a hill with a fantastic view of the waves. We also visited the largest aquapark in Europe called '' Siam Park '' where we spent the whole day and still did not have time to go around it completely.
Furthemore, on the very last day of my stay there I was surfing. Obviously, I had an explanation lesson on the ground before but I did not expect that it would be easy enough and I would learn to stand on the surfing board during the whole wave already by the end of the first workout. I guess I succeeded as there were perfect waves for beginners and not windy.
One more thing which I found cool was the volcano Teide. From my point of view it is better to take a car or a motorbike to drive there and then go to the top by cableway to observe the best view to the island and see the crater as well. Unfortunately, the day I went there it was closed due to bad weather conditions but anyway we were able to take some beautiful pictures and even visited one small ancient city on another side of an island.
In general, I really liked this trip and I wish to come there again. Besides, I recommend everyone to visit this adorable place and check all of its delights for yourself, I bet you will not regret.

My motherland
I was born and have been living for 16 years in such an amazing Russian city under the name: Nizhny Novgorod. It is placed right on the biggest river of Europe - Volga. The city is divided by 2 parts, locals call them ‘top’ and ‘bottom’. You can find 3 bridges which connect these parts and lovely embankments.
Speaking about the attractions of the city, the first thing that comes to my mind is our Kremlin (the ancient ‘castle’ which surrounds the old town) which is located in the middle of the city. Besides, in 2017 the football stadium was built in order to hold matches during the championship. From the top of the ‘top’ part you can observe an unbelievably picturesque view to the connection of 2 rivers, right in this place river Oka joins river Volga which makes it more special. To come here it takes just 5 hours driving from Moscow and 13 hours from Saint-Petersburg.
When it comes to weather, It is common knowledge that cold temperature dominates here as this is the middle of Russia. In summer it is about +25ºC when in winter it is about -35ºC, which makes the rivers freezed and plenty of fishermen catch fish on ice. Furthermore, In this adorable city one highly famous Russian writer and poet was born - Maxim Gorky. He has been living here for more than 35 years and wrote some novels and poems about his best part of life spent in Nizhny Novgorod.

Burj Khalifa
We are offering you to come to the incredible city of the future which is located in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai and visit the highest building in the entire world under the name Burj Khalifa.
The work for it began in 2004 but was opened just in 2010 and it still attracts a lot of attention. Can you imagine the insane height of 163 floors or 830 metres? It is 2 times higher than Empire state Building and almost 3 times higher in comparison with Eiffel tower. There is also an observation deck on the top floor from where you have a chance to observe an unbelievable view of this enormous city, its other skyscrapers, long highways, bay coast and of course the Persian Gulf where by the way you can go swimming.
A real advantage of this place is its availability to visit and it is worth the price. One more interesting fact about the tower is that after sunset, millions of rays shine on it, depicting various pictures and attracting everyone, that’s what makes this place even more special. Even more, the Burj Khalifa has lights spread around its exterior glass, which displays flags of countries on their national days.
Because of the fact that the building is placed right in the middle of downtown (this is the name for the city’s busy tourism hub in Dubai), you won’t spend much time getting here, especially because of the huge variety of transport in Dubai. Besides, there are lots of entertainment located in Burj Khalifa, such as: restaurant, clubs, spa, hotel, cinema, gyms, pool, shiha room. In terms of restaurants, there is an atmosphere, an Armani restaurant, and much more. Many chefs have gathered from all around the world to celebrate these restaurants as they are one of a kind. Moreover, around the building you can find the biggest shopping mall in the world where it’s possible to buy whatever exists on our planet. Burj Khalifa (or it is also called Khalifa Tower) was named to honour the leader of the neighbouring emirate of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
