Late Work
Discussion 2 responses:
Yeo,Jordan- Jordan displays an array of good angles for his object
Dous,Grabriella- I can see the cord, or glue being something that could be included in the design
Degol Alana- I think this object is really interesting, I haven’t seen this object before and I like how the juicing part has lines to look like a lemon
Dickens, Amberly- I like all these angles, very dynamic and give a good sense for the cutting part
Torres, Juan- The lighting is not the best, it’s hard to get a good sense of the objects
Discussion 3 responses-
Dickens, Amberly- the Cerberus logo is really cool, but I can’t really tell what the logo is for except maybe for something sports or drink related.
Jenkins, Christohper- The simplified logo is really successful, I could immediately see it was the sails of a ship, and I could see this logo on a variety of products
Wolter,Andrew- I agree, the vans logo is really good because it also shows the product it is selling and another product is sells to wear for the skateboard
Fox,Madison- I never knew the Starbucks logo had a story behind it. You say the ad is somewhat successful, but I like how the ad is detailed, and also has it’s own detailed story to it.
Bryant, Catherine- The target logo is really good, Its simplistic enough that it can be on anything and also playful as its logo is literally what it is, a target! ^-^
Discussion 4
1.detailed- Crown apple is being displayed, and the ad is drawn with fantastical elements of fruit and animals flying. I think the ad is successful as it gives the sense that this product  is out of this world.
2.Simplified- The object is a Chanel perfume bottle, it is simply illustrated, which adds to its elegance and shows that this product is professional, but it could use something else like flowers, or something to show what it could smell like
3.Experimental- The ad is for shoes, and features a basketball player jumping In the air with a line zigzagging throughout the ad to create movement. The ad is successful to show the energy, and fun that these shoes bring to its customers

Responses-
Campen, Jacob- I think the Oreo ad is really fun! I Love the arms wrapping around the cookie, that’s how I feel when I want oreos
Wolter,Andrew- The beats ad is really good, The musical notes exploding from the headphone really shows how the sound will make someone feel
DeGol,Alana-The pipe ad is a nice simplistic design, and the single drop really sends the point across
Bryant, Catherine- It took me a second to see what the imprint on the tomato was, which is the bottom of the bottle, and I like it, its displaying the bottle in our minds without even showing us in the ad
Yeo,Jordan- The vodka ad is just so pretty, personally I usually buy liquor on the design of its label
Discussion 6- I have mine submitted in the discussion, and here’s the three responses
Dous,Grabriella- I don’t really like how the American currency looks, but Benjamin Franklin is the best one, and is pretty recognizable. It also does the most of all bills in terms of security
Dickens, Amberly- The Taiwan currency not only looks really pretty, but I love how they show the importance of nature and education on the bills, I think what is represented on our money, is what we want our country think of as important
Jasmine Hernandes- wow the example of bad currency, is really bad. I think it would look good as an art piece, but it is too much of a collage for currency
Discussion 7-
Discussion 8- The Fruit loops targets the kids demographic, I think the overall composition is succesful. The layout consists of bright and multiple different colors, the cereal box also features a cartoon bird, and kids love cartoons. The fruit loops falling into the bowl also give a sense of action
The wooden utensils is ad based on psychographics as it targets those who value of the environment will influence their decision on buying silverware. The ad is also balanced, with a giant leaf as a plate for the wooden utensils as if they are the meal, and a pair of chopsticks ready  to eat them

Responses-
Dickens, Amberly- I like how the ad isn’t geared toward anything specifically and plays with the alignments of the text throughout the ad to create movement across the page. I think this a good example of psychographics, I feel like most ads would try and market towards kids for telescopes, but this is for anyone.
Gutierrez, Cassandra- The composition is really powerful, the lighting for the ad makes us feel up close and personal with her, as if it’s a movie. The ad is good for those who value sports, and accomplishments.
Wolter, Andrew- Why, why did you choose an minion ad. I can safely say this is an ad just for kids, cause every adult I met has hatred for those little yellow minions. I can hear a child In the distance screaming for a minions toy
Yeo,Jordan- this ad is so cute, I think its good to show kids that can be anything they want
Torres, juan- I don’t think the ad chosen for psychographics is succesful. It shows Baseball players in a dynamic and interesting setting, but this being an ad for Budweiser? I guess it can be for those who want to drink beer while watching a baseball game, but beer wouldn’t be good for baseball player to drink, or for those who are focusing on a healthy active lifestyle.
Discussion 10- I submitted responses and an example in the board

Module 02-video
It’s important that I enjoy it, and have the time and space to do it. I just need good music and few distractions.
I like to see how other people interpret different things, it can help me generate some ideas and to see things from a different perspective. It’s also important to create collages, or amass a lot of inspiration to get an image in mind.
The videos helped me remember that I made art because it was fun to do, and sometimes in art I want to send across a message to the viewer. The Ted talk also helped me see that I can draw even if I lose confidence, or if I draw less often or not good enough,I can still draw and have fun. Drawing does also help me remember stuff, I always make drawings in my notes
Video 10- I love how we see the people in the theatre change into the people on the bus wearing headphones. Also Beethoven is so edgy, I love him, and they displayed him right in this video with the crazy hair, and eyeballs, as well as the piercing blue eyes. I don’t know much about symphony music, but this dude has helped me a lot in studying.
