This song was used for the first montage and I believe that it suits what is occurring on the screen brilliantly. It adds a lighthearted atmosphere even though what the characters are doing is illegal. Learning the soundtrack from Breaking Bad helped me gain an idea of how to create a montage like the one I have and I am truly satisfied with it.

I used this song for the final montage of my production. The reason behind using this song was that it has a quick tempo and an abrupt feel to it which also increases the tension within the scene.

The masks that we used for the characters were great aesthetically, however they caused problems with recording the dialogue. Therefore we had to record voice overs for this scene, which perhaps didn’t turn out as well as expected.

Final Scene
For the ending scene, I originally had in mind that the two brothers in the story would meet up with the King Pin and receive the money that had been promised for cooking their product. However, my friend who I had cast as the actor of the King Pin unfortunately dislocated his shoulder, causing a rather large inconvenience. I had to create a different ending which I thought wasn’t as good as it could have been but it was all I could do with the time available to me.

Time-Lapse
For the time-lapse that we recorded in my kitchen before the big cook scene, we had some issues with the duration of the time-lapse. In order to be able to make it worthwhile we had to act a lot slower than we would have done usually.

From this montage, I took influence from the quickly cut shots and the subtle zooms that are often used.

This is a montage that had the biggest influence on me. I tried to replicate the narrative within this montage

Proposal 2
Due to numerous issues concerning my original idea, I am forced to develop a new idea.  I am now hoping to produce a short production, roughly between 5-8minutes in length, about two brothers who develop their own drug, which soon becomes hot property by the local addicts and one, in particular, local King Pin.  The reason behind my desire to create this story is due to my love of Breaking Bad. Obviously I have taken a few aspects of the story, but I wanted to challenge myself emulate similar filming methods that are used in the show like time-lapse and montage.
