Cashflow 101 E-game is the pc game version of the popular financial education board game, Cashflow 101. To those of you who are unfamiliar with who Robert Kiyosaki is, he is the author of the best-selling book: Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

The objective of Cashflow 101 E-game is to get out of the rat race and into the fast track to achieve your dream, that is, to achieve financial freedom. As a person who has never played the real Cashflow board game before, I find the digital/software version pretty interesting and quite addictive.

At first impression, the e-game was amazing in graphics but needs more improvements in the background music and game options.

202 is a little better …. but good all round learning tool!

Earlier this past week I was asked to evaluate the Electronic version of Rich Dad’s Cashflow 101 game. So, what I decided to do was play it a few dozen times, take some screen captures and post them here in this blog to get some other opinions on this terrific game.

For those of you who are not familiar with Robert Kiyosaki and his famous book “Rich Dad Poor Dad”, “Cashlow Quadrant” and a handful of others…he has developed a board game called CASHFLOW. There is a Kids version of this game, as well as a pc version called Cashflow 101, and the more advanced pc version called Cashflow 202.

Today I thought I would tell you a little bit about the game in general and then show you some screenshots. Essentially, the object of this game is to collect more passive income than you have as expenses. Those who achieve this are raised to a state known as the “fast track”.

So what is this game all about and how can it help me? The game starts off by assigning you a character and corresponding profession. You get to pick which Dream you would like to shoot for. Dreams can be something like being able to heli ski the swiss alps, have dinner with the President, join the peace corps and conduct humanitarian missions, etc. But you need to earn enough to buy those dreams.

Now, the fundamentals of the game are limited at best however they do do a good job in helping you decide what impact your cashflow will be if you buy a small deal or a big deal. Small deals are generally small homes, condos, stock market deals, etc. while big deals could be large 24 unit apartment complexes, 8 plex, 4 plex, duplex, car wash, beauty salon, trucking business, etc.

The fun part about playing this game especially the electronic version, is that you can have the computer generate 4 pc characters you can play against. Each character may be a firefighter, policeman, lawyer, web designer, doctor, etc. When the game begins it assigns a character to you and if they make you a lawyer…you will have to pay back school loans, credit card debt, retail debt, car loans, mortgages, etc.

Again the whole idea is to get you out of the rat race and into living a comfortable life existing on enough passive income to do all of those things you have always wanted to do.

Apple mac os x 10.5 free download iso. This game does have it’s limitations, which I won’t bother addressing here however, it is truly a delight to play. I have only reviewed CASHFLOW 101 at this time but do expect to evaluate CASHFLOW 202 as well as the Kids version of the game.

In closing, if you are interested in increasing your financial understanding…this may very well be a fun and exciting way to learn.

Ok, in this game I just made it out of the Rat Race by accumulating enough passive income. The next step is the Fast Track!

Oh Yeah! I kicked butt and had a lot of fun in the process!!!

4. You should see the icon for Daemon Tools in your system tray. Right-click on it.

6. Under Device 0, select “Mount Image”. You should get a window asking you to select the file you want to mount. On my computer, the folder for Cashflow was under Program Files>Bit Comet>Downloads. Select the first Cashflow file (101 the E-Game, 1 of 2). Mount.

7. Under Device 1, do the same with the second file (101, 2 of 2). 8. Then under Device 2, you would mount Cashflow 202.

10. Okay, at this point I can’t remember if I double-clicked on the first CD, or if I opened WinRar and double-clicked on Setup.exe in 101. But one of these works! At this point, whenever it asks you for a CD, just write in the box the letter with the colon that corresponds to the CD you need. For instance, if it asks for the data disk, I needed G:. So, that’s what I put. I knew this because under “My Computer”>”Devices With Removable Storage”, the CDs are clearly labeled! They even have a picture icon of the CashFlow symbol.

What is Apple Configurator?

Apple Configurator is a macOS application that allows administrators to create configurations and apply them to iOS devices. Before Apple Configurator, Apple offered iPhone Configuration Utility. Apple Configurator is the continuation of this sunset utility.

The range of configuration options in Configurator is extensive. Administrators can control minimum security requirements for passcodes, VPN configurations, on-device certificates, and even fonts. Generally, any configurations that can be applied via mobile device management (MDM) are also available in Apple Configurator.

Additionally, Apple Configurator provides the ability for an administrator to select which apps to install to iOS. Sign in with an Apple ID and select any app downloaded or purchased previously under that Apple ID.

How Does it Work?

How do i install dmg files on my mac. Apple Configurator combines these two capabilities to create a blueprint:

Configurations (aka profiles – made up of individual payloads)

Apps

An administrator is able to create multiple blueprints. Common groupings include role-based (executive, manager, contributor) or department-based (sales, marketing, support). Blueprints can also be layered on a device, allowing multiple configurations to overlap.

With blueprints configured, place Apple Configurator in ‘prepare’ mode. Then, each iOS device connects via USB or lightning and Apple Configurator pushes the configuration to the device. Also during this time, administrators can wipe devices, upgrade iOS, place into supervision mode, enroll with an MDM, etc.

The process can be time-consuming if one’s upgrading iOS or switching to supervised mode (which requires a system wipe). In these cases, we find many administrators use high-capacity USB hubs. Though we haven’t used it personally, the Cambrionix PowerPad15 is an example of a USB hub for this very purpose.

Sidenote: If looking to purchase a hub, check the capacity of power to the hub. If the wattage is too low, devices may not charge while plugged in. Decide if this is a requirement for your organization.

Why Use Both Configurator and MDM?

After explaining the functionality of Apple Configurator, an often asked question is: So why do I need MDM if I can manage configurations and apps this way? The question is a fair one, and the answer largely depends upon your organizational needs.

Apple Configurator can provide parity with MDM for some organizations with limited requirements. The big difference is the ability to control configurations after deployment. With Configurator, once an administrator unplugs the device, no further communication occurs unless the device plugs back into a computer. With MDM, administrators control configurations via WiFi or cellular connection.

Limited abilities exist to manage apps in Configurator. It only enables the basic process of installing selected apps. However, MDM will allow administrators to distribute company-owned app licenses purchased through Apple Business Manager (formerly Volume Purchase Program – VPP) as well as remotely update and remove apps. MDM is even capable of pushing app-specific configurations.

If you’re interested in how MDM can be used to simplify app deployment, we strongly recommend this read: Install Apps Remotely to iPads and iPhones which provides a comprehensive view of the many ways to deploy apps, each having its own strengths.

MDM provides additional features that an administrator can enable remotely. They can lock a device, wipe its contents, and monitor app installation. MDM also allows an administrator to access advanced functionalities, like forcing a device to only display a single app. A great example is the Square point of sale system.

Organizations learn to establish a balance when using both technologies. Apple Configurator is able to make sure all devices run the latest iOS version, are supervised and have an initial WiFi network connection. MDM is then used for all further configurations and management.

How To Enroll With MDM Using Apple Configurator

Enrolling a device with MDM generally occurs via a link either sent to the device by SMS or email or manually typed into a browser. This is reasonable for only a few devices or if employees will be enrolling their own devices. It absolutely does not scale for companies with a large number of company-owned devices that need to be set up. Instead, an organization will generally use the Apple Device Enrollment Program (read Explained: The Apple Device Enrollment Program) to have devices automatically configured with their MDM out-of-the-box, or they’ll use Apple Configurator.

We’ll now explain how to configure a device with MDM using Apple Configurator. To start, if you haven’t already, download Apple Configurator from the Mac App Store. Install the app and run it.

Once the application is running, plug your device into the computer.

Next, click the ‘Prepare’ button from the top bar of the app.

Configurator will ask you which mode you’d like to use. Select ‘Manual’ unless you have an Apple Business Manager account and want to add devices to it.

Apple Configurator will ask you if you’d like to assign the device to an MDM. Select ‘New server…’ if you haven’t completed this process before. The following screen will allow you to specify a name for your MDM as well as the enrollment URL.

The process for getting an enrollment URL varies between MDM vendors. For SimpleMDM, you must create an Enrollment (either group or one-time) in order to generate the URL as shown below. Paste the enrollment URL into Apple Configurator.

The remaining steps are not MDM-specific. The prompt asks if you’d like to:

Supervise the device and block other computers from managing it

Provide information about your organization to display on the device

Skip certain set-up screens during the initial iOS startup

Create or use an existing configurator identity. This is essentially a certificate that allows you to re-access these devices down the road with Apple Configurator on the same or on a different computer.

Once you’ve completed these steps, Configurator will begin setting up the devices you selected initially or plugin subsequently. The devices appear automatically in your MDM as they configure.

We run Windows. Can I Use Apple Configurator?

The strict answer is ‘no’. Apple Configurator software is only for macOS; Apple does not distribute a Windows version.

The nitty-gritty answer is ‘sort of’. None of these methods are recommended and may provide more pain than gain, so we generally recommend that organizations in this scenario purchase a Mac Mini to have as a resource for around the office. If interested in going down the rabbit hole, here are some methods that we’ve heard employed:

Apple used to distribute a Windows version of the iPhone Configuration Utility. It’s still available on c net here. The last software release was January of 2013. At best it’s missing many features and at worse it won’t work at all.

Run macOS as a virtual machine on Windows. We’re pretty sure this breaks Apple macOS software licensing rules, so we cannot recommend this methodology. We’ve heard some reports that most virtual machine software handles USB emulation in a manner that causes issues when connecting and disconnection iOS devices, but we cannot confirm this.

Use Apple DEP instead. When using MDM, Apple DEP substitutes for Apple Configurator. Apple DEP devices are ready out-of-the-box, eliminating the need for USB/lightning connections and extra touches. Referenced earlier, you can learn more about Apple DEP via this article. If you’d like to use DEP, apply for an account at deploy.apple.com.

The Oswego Speedway is a 5/8 mile race track in Oswego, New York. It was built in 1951 and was paved with asphalt since the 1952. The track received the date on the schedule after construction of Central New York Raceway Park was delayed.(3) The speedway was covered by approximately 6,900 cubic feet of clay for DIRTcar modified drivers to compete in the NAPA 300, the richest dirt modified race in the world. The event took place on October 5 to 9, 2016.(3) It was the first time that the track had a dirt surface since 1952.(3) The state of New York spent $1.1 million in renovations to the speedway that year.(3) It received an new scoreboard and bleachers; the campgrounds got plumbing and electricity upgrades.(3) The 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.(1)

The speedway signed an online streaming agreement in 2021 for FloRacing to broadcast weekly Oswego Speedway races.(4)

The track is located at 300 East Albany Street, Oswego, NY 13126, about 35 miles northwest of Syracuse near State Highway 481 just off Rt. 104; telephone 315-342-0646. The facility has covered and uncovered grandstands on the north side, as well as uncovered grandstands the south. Total seating is =/- 10,000.

Unpaved, open-field parking is available on both sides of Albany Street to the north and east of the 'oval' track surface. (It is not truly an oval, but is more of a 'four-corner' track. Banking is about thirteen degrees.)

Greg Furlong has won the Labor Day Weekend Classic event six times since 1999, and has finished on the podium on two other occasions. Famed Indianapolis 500 drivers Davey Hamilton, Bentley Warren and Joe Gosek are all Budweiser Classic winners. Warren won the Budweiser Classic six times from 1969 through 1998, as well as winning the ISMA Supernationals winged supermodified event in 1994 and 2006 (at the age of 66).

Some Race of Champions winners have participated in NASCAR events. These include Brett Bodine, 1986 Daytona 500 winner Geoff Bodine, NASCAR Hall of Famer and modified legend Richie Evans, Brian Ross, Greg Sacks, Frankie Schneider, and Jimmy Spencer.

Racing vehicles(edit)

Oswego is the last track in the world to utilize supermodifieds in its weekly programs.(4) The modern supermodified car is a front-engine / rear-drive vehicle with a big block Chevrolet engine mounted on the left side of the chassis to maximize kinetic force for left turns on the 5/8-mile, asphalt track. The normally aspirated, fuel-injected engines make 900 or more horsepower, or one horsepower or more for each two pounds of weight (1800-lb. minimum). Up to and including the 2018 season, Oswego supermodifieds were unwinged, having wedge-shaped bodywork to provide downforce. The fastest non-wing supermodifieds were capable of circling the track in less than 16.5 seconds, averaging better than 136 miles per hour in the process. For the 2019 season, Oswego supermodifieds will utilize fixed rear-wings for downforce.

Oswego Speedway supermodified class track champions have included multi-time champs Otto Sitterly (nine times, 2006-2014, 2018, 2019),(1) Nolan Swift (eight times, 1953–71), Bentley Warren (seven times, 1983–93), Jim Shampine (seven times, 1967–79), Greg Furlong (four times, 2000–07), Eddie Bellinger, Sr. (three times, 1957–60), Doug Didero (three times, 1994–96) and Mike Muldoon (three times, 1997-1999).

Other classes running regularly at Oswego Speedway during the season that extends from April through September include the Oswego Speedway Small Block Supermodifieds and 350 Winged Supermodifieds.(4) It has featured DART Asphalt Modified Tour cars and Buckeye Super (winged asphalt) Sprint Cars. The track also hosts the International Supermodified Association (ISMA) and Midwest Supermodified Association (MSA) supermodifieds (both having air-strut adjustable top wings). Some Whelen Modified drivers occasionally race at Oswego including Matt Hirschman, his father Tony, Zane Zeiner, and Bryon Chew.

The fastest winged supermodifieds are capable of lapping the track in the low 15-second range at average speeds of 150 miles per hour, generating gravity forces of 4.0 and up.

Jim had had a stellar career of racing Supermodifieds at Oswego. He had won everything there was to win at Oswego and revolutionized the cars several times. In fact his designs were so dominating that his cars obsoleted the rest of the field a couple of times. I had watched him race for years, winning lots of races, championships at Oswego and winning in asphalt and dirt modifieds. He was the bench mark for supermodified drivers and builders and for me, he could do no wrong. I had gotten to know Jim when I rented a garage in Bridgeport NY, around the corner from his place. I was still living nearby in Brewerton, NY. When I needed help with something or needed to use a piece of his equipment he would always give me a hand. The car was so threatening that Oswego banned it after one year of competition.... and that was the last straw for Shampine at Oswego. He decided to go sprint car racing. Jim bought a new chassis from Charlie and Mike Lloyd in PA, car owner/builder for the Smokey Snelbaker 56, who had been winning a lot of races in recent years. He was helpful and friendly and it was important for me to do well in front of him. I remember once at an Outlaw show at Lebanon Valley a reporter came up to him and asked why the cars were lifting the RF tire when they went down the straight. The questioner was a tech writer for Open Wheel Magazine Jim was evasive and said he didn't know, whereby the interviewer started making statements about chassis twist and the modulus of steel and a whole bunch of uninformed speculation. I knew the answer and stood there, thinking like a third grader would, with his hand in the air, saying 'Oooo, Oooo, call on me, call on me'. But I didn't say anything. After the interviewer left I asked Jim, 'Don't you know what's going on there?' and he said, 'Sure, but if I told him, he'd get it all screwed up when he wrote it. And then he'd credit me with all that wrong information and I'd look like a fool'. Ahhh, the voice of experience; he had been stung before. Jim chased the PA and NY Outlaw races that year. We were pitted next to each other at Williams Grove and Jim had been having trouble with his injection so I was helping him with a leak tester I had. Duval tapped me to let me know I was in the first heat, so I got in the car and was pushed off to race. I started on the front row and used the still tacky track to run away with the heat win. I had run here enough to know that after the first lap at this track everyone gets spread out and it is common to win a heat at Williams Grove from the front row. I also knew I was on the front row because I had timed in about 20th. Winning the heat meant I would make the A-main, but I would be getting my time back and start about 17th. I was happy to win the heat but I knew it's real value. Jim was very impressed though and that made me happy. So later that year Jim and I showed up at Sharon Speedway for a regular Friday night show. It had rained and the track was sloppy. It was getting late and they hadn't been able to get the track run in with the packers so they sent out the race cars. When the sprints got on the track there was one groove and that was greasy. I knew that the only thing to do was warm up the engine and keep the car from getting loaded with clay. After a few laps they dropped the green and Jim came around the outside of me coming out of two and blew by. When we got to three I backed off way early because it was so slippery, but Jim hauled on in there. His car went mostly straight, right into the third turn wall and flipped. Jim watched the rest of the races from the pits. I had a particularly good night running second to Dave Blaney. It amazed me that with as much experience and patience as Jim had, that he misjudged that track and ran that hard in warmups. It reminded me of when I drove in on the wet cushion in warmups at Port Royal once and stuffed it into the fence. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Jim won a few races with the ESS group in NYS and after a couple of seasons with the sprint car he parked it and got together with Clyde Booth and they built another supermodified and went back to Oswego and winning. Photos supplied by RetroRockets.org, taken by Don Kranz and Bill Hartwell A few years later on a Sunday morning, Labor Day weekend, we were at Expo Speedway in Northeastern Ohio. Either an All Star race or an open show, I don't remember, but most of the area teams were there. A warm sunny day would make this flat track a dried out place and that made our chances good. Duval, and Cheri and Teresa had driven out to Ohio to meet up with me for the weekend's racing. While we were getting things ready I went over to the tire truck to get some tear-offs. Some of the guys were talking about someone getting killed last nite. I asked who and one of them turned and said 'Shampine'. My stomach sank. He was in a quality pavement, full bodied modified for the annual 200 lap modified race at Oswego. A simple spin and bad timing with on coming traffic cost him his life. I can't describe the feeling. I guess some people call it numb. It was somehow distant for me. I knew that race drivers get killed and accepted it. But I knew Jim, and that was different, it left me hollow. We raced that day and had a top 5 finish. The thought of loosing Shampine was replaced by the total concentration of driving the car and solving the setup puzzle for the day. After the race we packed up and headed down the road. This race weekend was a busy one. I had a ride in a modified at the Syracuse Mile Monday afternoon and planned to race the sprint at Selinsgrove that night, 4 hours south. That Sunday night Duval drove and I rode in the trusty black van down I-90 to Syracuse while his wife Cheri and Teresa drove the cube van towing the race car from Ohio down to Selinsgrove. Jim was one of my racing heroes and it was an honor to know him and race with him. As Duval and I went down the NYS Thruway (I-90) a huge display of northern lights lit up the starry sky.

1 - i could not make a windows-keyboard work... in particular, my imac (g5) would 'ask' about it when powering up by having me press the key 'just inside of shift key' on each side... thus, i was never able to make the keyboard-combo work correctly... if you cannot get into open-firmware, then try getting a normal MAC-keyboard...

2 - i was having all sorts of problems trying to get the correct device to use for the 'dir' command... i could see the tree of information, but could never make a working 'devalias' for myself... two clues:

a - if (when you type devalias xx yyy@yyyyyyyy) you receive a comment 'no alias' in response, then it did NOT work... you should see a 'good' response of just the word OK... even so, i was never able to 'use' my own devalias...

b - i noticed in one of the later-comments someone had tried just typing the word 'devalias' without anything else... when i typed that, i got a nice long list of predefined aliases... in particular, i could see one called 'first-boot' that looked like it should access my working tiger-hdd internally... also, if i just typed 'boot' it would do what youd expect (boot from the first-boot device, which is the current internal hdd)...

3 - i was finally able to get things working better by doing/trying the following (details removed for hopeful-clarity):

- and i finally saw something good... nb, i needed the exact-extra-characters listed (7 chars starting with / and ending with ) to get a 'good' dir... and i assume others will have the devalias of 'first-boot' predefined like i did...

- was the magic incantation i used for getting to my external-usb-key (8gb formatted/dmg-restored as needed)... in particular, the '1:3' here on usb0 and the '0:3' with first-boot matched the disk:partition information i got when i looked at the key using the regular get-info command from tigers disk-utility...

i could do a more-detailed 'dir' on the key until i got to the ...CoreServices directory level... i could NOT actually do a 'dir' on the BootX file itself... but the CoreServices directory showed the 'magic' tbxi flag on that BootX file that i expected to see...

i could use the 'UP-ARROW' to repeat the last command that id typed, so that i could just change the 'dir' to a 'boot' and add the BootX to the end and it would work... (using left- and right-arrows to leave the other good characters in place)

4 - once i got my magic incantation correct, it took prolly an hour to get thru the first-boot - but eventually i got the great happy-mac sound from the other room... hopefully you will be able to too... :)

D4S, D810, D3300, and D5300 image display When images captured with the D4S, D810, D3300, or D5300 are displayed at a magnification of less than 25%, brightness in the RAW image preview display and images output in TIFF format may differ.

Ratings applied with a COOLPIX camera Ratings applied with a COOLPIX camera in playback mode are not reflected in ViewNX 2 or other applications that support ratings.

H.264 movie playback under Mac Colours will appear lighter in movies played back on a computer running Mac.

Click your desktop to make sure that you’re in the Finder, then choose Go > Home from the menu bar at the top of your screen.

Open the Movies folder, then drag the file named iMovie Library to your external hard drive.

When the library file is finished copying to your external drive, double-click the library file on the external drive to open it in iMovie. If an alert appears asking you to give iMovie access to a removable volume, click OK. If you clicked Don't Allow, in the Finder choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Security and Privacy, then click Privacy. Click Files and Folders in the sidebar, then select 'Removable Volumes' under iMovie.

Make sure the library you moved contains all your media, then drag the original file from your Movies folder on your Mac to the Trash.

If you disconnect the external drive

When your external drive is connected to your Mac, the library you moved to the external drive opens automatically in iMovie. If you disconnect the external drive containing the library, iMovie opens to a new, empty library created in the Movies folder on your Mac. Many Linux distributions package the latest version of Krita. Sometimesyou will have to enable an extra repository. You might also want toinstall the KDE system settings module and tweak the gui theme and fonts used,depending on your distributions.

Nautilus/Nemo file extensions¶

Since April 2016, KDE’s Dolphin file manager shows KRA and ORA thumbnails bydefault, but Nautilus and it’s derivatives need an extension. Werecommend Moritz Molch’s extensions for XCF, KRA, ORA and PSDthumbnails.

For Krita 3.0 and later, first try out the appimage from the website.90% of the time this is by far the easiest way to get thelatest Krita. Just download the appimage, and then use the fileproperties or the bash command chmod to make the appimage executable.Double click it, and enjoy Krita. There are snap packages provided by the ubuntu snap developers, these are generally not up to date. The Krita Developers do not provide or build the snap packages themselves.To install Krita as a snap package, first install snapd application. Snapd is installed by default on ubuntu distributions.

While it is certainly more difficult to compile Krita from source thanit is to install from prebuilt packages, there are certain advantagesthat might make the effort worth it:

You can follow the development of Krita on the foot. If you compileKrita regularly from the development repository, you will be able toplay with all the new features that the developers are working on.

You can compile it optimized for your processor. Most pre-built packagesare built for the lowest-common denominator.

You will be getting all the bug fixes as soon as possible as well.

You can help the developers by giving us your feedback on features asthey are being developed and you can test bug fixes for us. This ishugely important, which is why our regular testers get their name inthe about box just like developers.

Of course, there are also some disadvantages: when building from the currentdevelopment source repository you also get all the unfinished features.It might mean less stability for a while, or things shown in the userinterface that don’t work. But in practice, there is seldom really badinstability, and if it is, it’s easy for you to go back to a revisionthat does work.

So… If you want to start compiling from source, begin with the latestbuild instructions from the guide here.
