Explanation Atari was always known as one of the major game console manufacturers. They are considered one of the pioneers of the gaming industry. Zeeman comes with two pairs of new sneakers. One model is, for Zeeman's sake, very expensive. The other model is very cheap. Both models are cheaper than sneakers of similar quality from other brands.
Zeeman sneakers
Every once in a while Zeeman comes up with cool fashion items. We had never seen sneakers before, but now the Dutch retail chain is changing that with two models that don't lose much of their style and design compared to sneakers of the big brands. Meet the Zeeman Hybrid Z and the Zeeman Basic Z.
The Hybrid Z
The Hybrid Z is the high-end model for which extra attention has been paid to design, quality and wearing comfort. "We have created a unique and striking design, as a fashion statement. By bringing the sneakers onto the market in a limited edition of five hundred, we want the Hybrid Z to be exclusive," says Zeeman in a statement. Well-known influencers such as Lizzy van der Ligt, Yuki Kempees, Sanne Poeze, and GirlonKicks participated in the campaign. The Hybrid Z sneakers of the Zeeman are available from size 37 up to and including size 45 and cost 200 euros. That's not much for limited edition design sneakers.
Basic Z
Then to sneakers with a price we are used to from the chain: the Basic Z. Reminiscent of Adidas' iconic Stan Smith model. At least, in terms of appearance. The difference: you can buy almost ten pairs of this model from the sailor for the price of one pair of Adidas Stan Smith. These shoes have gone into mass production and cost only 12.99 euros. Also available from size 37 to size 45.

We are seeing more and more models with realistic sizes when shopping online and it seems that this is also changing in the shops. Nike has put some new mannequins in his flagship store and they look a little bit different than we are used to.
Our society is very diverse and we see this more and more in the fashion world. As a result, fewer and fewer photos are edited and retailers are opting more for models that look realistic. A trend that now also continues in the sports world. In his flagship store in London, Nike also shows the clothing on mannequins that don't have a size 34 or on dolls with a physical disability.
Now Nike is not the first brand to opt for more realistic mannequins. When Missguided first opened a store in London in 2016, they opted for mannequins that looked like their customers and not like the ideal. The Debenhams department store has also been using size 42 mannequins in its stores for years.
We still have a long way to go before different body types, skin colors and age groups become the norm in the fashion world. But when bigger players like Nike take such measures, we take a step in the right direction every time. Something we can only applaud.

DIY store chain Hornbach recently came with a new way of marketing underwear. The DIY store has introduced underwear with the smell of spring. But, the aromas are not usually the first thing you will come up with. If you would ask a random person what kind of fragrance they would link with springtime, most likely they say fresh aromas like nature or something like that. Hornbach has his own vision on this topic. From their perspective, the smells of springtime should be associated with the aroma of a sweaty handyman. Maarten Post, marketing manager Hornbach the Netherlands says “We associate the spring with the start of the DIY season, with the start of new projects. That means hard work. A day of sweating. Nothing to be ashamed of. On the contrary, with this campaign, we celebrate that the smell of DIY sweat is in the air. Mixed with the scent of tumbled earth, green grass, and budding flowers. ”
On March 15th Hornbach started their campaign 'that's how spring smells.' To promote this campaign, Hornbach placed underwear vending machine at the central train station of Utrecht. Every package underwear has got its own fragrance, for example, the smell of wood. This way, all people can get their hands on a piece of spring.
According to a recent study by Accenture (2015; in cooperation with Forrester), Customer experience is one of the top priorities for most businesses. It is a way for companies to distinguish themselves from competitors. In the customer experience, it is necessary to listen carefully to the wishes of the consumers. It is smart to stimulate as many senses as possible. Hornbach responds well to this. They make use of multiple senses, for example, the smell and the look. The fact that Horbach uses customer experience for selling underwear, despite the fact the company is a DIY store, is refreshing.
Online shopping is becoming more popular every year. Because of this reason, real stores having a hard time to lure people in their stores. So they need to find a way to make real-life shopping more interesting for the customers. By using customer experience marketing, people get triggered to come to the stores again. Because this a thing online shops can barely give.

Coca Cola engaged in developing marijuana drink. Name developer: Coca-Cola Year of development: 2018 Sector: Food Brief description of the product: Coca-Cola is in talks with Aurora Cannabis to launch a new drink that is infused with cannabis.
What is it? Coca-Cola is looking into the possibilities for a cannabis-infused drink. This is a non-psychoactive substance that occurs in the marijuana plant called Cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is often abbreviated as CBD. CBD is the substance in marijuana that is used as a painkiller but is also used for fear and stress, depression and recovery after illness. There are also a lot of other benefits to CBD that have a positive effect on our body. According to BNN Bloomberg, the two are in serious talks about bringing a new drink to market. Unlike other producers of cannabis-containing drinks, coca cola wants to develop a drink that will help with inflammation, pain, and cramps (BNN Bloomberg 2018). Among these, there are currently beverages that want to mimic the effect of THC. THC is another substance found in cannabis that causes you to get stoned or high. THC is also the substance that is co-responsible for causing psychosis.
Why does it exist now and is it relevant to society? There are visible changes and development around cannabis. A great example is the legalization of marijuana in parts of America. More and more discoveries are also being made about the positive and negative aspects of marijuana. The fact that Coca-Cola is the largest beverage producer dealing with the positive aspects of cannabis is a big step for the marijuana sector. More attention will be paid to CBD-containing products, and this will probably also result in further research into the substance. If this continues, it will also largely break the taboos surrounding marijuana.
