For a person who is new to Dubai, the high-rise buildings, and the high level of productivity of the populace, the high-tech business world may deceive you into thinking Dubai has no cool spot to hangout.

Well, this perception is far from reality.

There are beautiful places to hang out with family and friends in Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard:  

Although not one of the new projects by Emaar, this spot has stood out as one of the places to get mouth-watering food and experience the luxurious lifestyle of Dubai nightlife. 

The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rasheed Boulevard is an excellent alternative to Souk Al Bahar. 

Tribeca Kitchen and Bar: 

This is one of those spots that artfully combine the high-rise, urban feel of modern-day New York with the lavish style of Dubai. There are several quirky and custom-made accessories and a wide range of organic beverages. The friendliness of Tribeca is in full glare even though the exclusivity isn't there. Still, this is a place where realtors working with Dubai real estate agencies would advise one to hang out at. 

Jumeirah Beach Residences: 

Dubai's version of South Beach, Miami, the Jumeirah Beach Residences, also known as JBR walk boasts some of Dubai's flashy and extravagant crowd. 

The alfresco cafes and beach-side parties are sure to attract you. If that doesn't do it, the delicious continental and intercontinental cuisines served at the restaurant and beach dining are too good to leave. 

The area also features luxury clothing stores and a Beach Mall where you can shop around. Just off the beach is a water park where you and your family/friends can have a wonderful time in the pool. This neighborhood is located near the Dubai Marina area.

Jumeirah Kite Beach: 

One of the best public beaches in Dubai, the Jumeirah kite beach has colorful kite floating in the skies as you enjoy fresh juice and snacks. There are also some restaurants and cafes surrounding the beach where you can enjoy tasty meals. During January/February every year, the beach also hosts Dubai's food festival.
