So I ship wheelcee so bad! I like it, they just make sense to me. I love them as a pair bc I feel like they have so much in common. Anyways, here’s a drawing of human Arcee wearing human Wheeljacks jacket (after a long night 😏😘). (Yes I was listening to OMG What’s Happening by Ava Max while drawing this!😍)

Side note: I kinda decided to give her an eyebrow piercing in this version bc I liked it and it made her look a little badass to me!

Might fix it later but this is what I would imagine Arcee to be like in human form (fancy version). This is kind of her getting into a bloody fight after encountering decepticons!?! I would imagine Miko helping Arcee get dressed up for this important event and her doing a braid in Arcee hair😜. The other one is what I think Arcee would wear her hair like! Also, she is holding someone’s sword that seems familiar😏. (yes I do ship Wheelcee don’t judge😜😍) Might do Wheeljack next idk…!?Please don’t repost without giving credit!!!! Enjoy!😄😜

I think what makes Kane such an effective villain, especially for a show like MotorCity is the same reason Tesler was so effective for Tron Uprising. He’s often mustache-twirlingly evil, but he gets just enough screentime that we see other sides to his character that give him a decent sense of depth.

It also helps that in some cases he’s actually sort of right. Or at least has a good way of thinking. His pep-talk to Mike before he turns and him telling Julie he’s giving Deluxe to her when he dies are good examples. Kane’s right in these moments; being a leader does involve making tough decisions that a lot of people won’t like, and the best people to give positions of power are often the ones who don’t want it because they’re more inclined to view it as an actual responsibility than a luxury.

What makes Kane the villain is what he’s willing to do to get what he wants and expand his grip on Detroit (as well as the cyberpunk fascism and total disregard for those he considers beneath him of course).

And his relationship with Julie is especially interesting because you could legit make the argument that Kane loves his daughter more than his own position, and the back and forth between the two make Julie the most interesting character (should have been the protagonist tbh) in the show, and there’s no real way to determine just how exactly Kane would react when he inevitably found out Julie was a Burner. Would he double down and go completely off the deep end, or would the gut punch give him enough of a wake-up call to mellow out?

The answer would probably be the former (Kane’s pretty much a PG Handsome Jack, of course), but still.
