Like Sun, hes poisonus, though hes based more off a scorpionfish, unlike Sun whose based off a lionfish

Hes the oldest out of him, Helios, Harvest, and Callisto, and the most protective. Hes also the strongest, and grows to about 19'7 ft long

And unlike the other mers, whose rays are usually fins, Flares are solid and basically like horns

He lives in a kelp forest with his siblings far far away from the rest of the mers

wanted to sketch what he'd look like in Retrograde Proxy but then didnt know if it looked better fill in... the void monsters are all supposed to be outlines only, bc they aren't physical, but he's a sun so.. maybe i'll draw him in a normal light setting later.
