So if you ever watch these series and think, "Wow, those colors seem intentional" or "Do those chains and bars mean something?", the answer is yes. The cinematography is a character in itself. Instead of watching acting, you are watching the entire series reinforce the acting because the camera movements, angles, placement, colors, lighting, and so much more support the storytelling process.

Sidenote: If you're enjoying the cinematography on The Eclipse, the same person, Suthipong Teerasakul, is scheduled to do the cinematography for the upcoming OhmFluke project 609 Bedtime Stories, which will also have the same director and screenwriters as The Eclipse.

MaxTul and their BL's were way ahead of time.

Starting with Korn and Knock calling each other 'husband' and 'husband' in Together with me instead of the now commonly used terms 'wife' and 'husband' in BLs.

Manner of death being the pioneer for a different genre in BLs in a time when only student themed BLs were in the spotlight.

Tul using his platform as a BL actor to advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights which should be normal but guess what there are not a lot of BL actors speaking about these issues.

Not playing into the stereotype of the typical uke and seme characteristics (which I know exists in real life too but representation of the other side of the spectrum matters equally). Not everyone fits in the same box. Also their pride photos are 😍❤️ (This is also something that somehow I have not seen a lot of BL actors doing inspite of playing characters of a genre that talks about queer love stories.)

Tul supporting Max through his relationship reveal and standing by his side through everything and Max refusing to say that what he and Tul shared was fan service or fake. Even at the risk of losing fans these two remained honest to each other and their fans.

Honestly this whole interview was eye opening on many levels. This proves another one of my points that two BL actors may share a good equation and comfort level and it is not necessarily fan service. Being of the same gender and sharing the experience of acting together definitely helps in forming an organic relationship.

People just need to stop overanalyzing and over interpreting certain actions to make it seem like a relationship.

In conclusion according to me, Max and Tul paved the way.

I've been needing Papang in a leading role and I don't want the only time I see Pepper this year to be a tiny role in We Are. Put them together! The chemistry is there! DON'T LET PAPANG'S MDL PROFILE HAVE ONLY SUPPORT ROLES ON IT!

Since we're manifesting, I must second @respectthepetty's desire for a gym bro BL. There are so many gym bros on the roster! It would be so easy, GMMTV! NO LES CUESTA NADA!

It felt dishonest to make compilations of all of the main men in this show and leave Cheum out of it when she's part of the Messy F4. To be honest, Cheum dresses simply, but Lookjun makes all of these look very good, to be honest. I really had high hopes for Cheum before this show aired, but at least she delivered when it came to her outfits. Also, her favorite pants (the jeans with a hole in the back and one in the front) was used around 11-12 times that we can see it.

FIRSTKHAO CHARACTERS ANALYSES 101: FIRE/WATER

I was rewatching The Eclipse & Only Friends and realized that First's characters are always associated with Fire and Khao's characters are always associated with Water.

Akk (The Eclipse)

Sand (Only Friends)

Ayan (The Eclipse)

Ray (Only Friends)

It's just so interesting how Fire is associated with explosion and Water with calmness yet FirstKhao's characters are the opposites of the elements they're distinctively associated with. Akk is reserved who panics when Ayan flirts and Sand is serene and is tune with his emotions which is usually linked to Water whereas Ayan is bold who enjoys making Akk blush and Ray is fiery who's reckless with his actions which is usually linked with Fire.

There's a saying that "Opposites do attract." and "Fire and Water balances each other out." and I agree. In this scene of The Eclipse, we can see that Ayan (Water) is in Akk's (Fire) space (You can see the fire in front of them).

We can see that Ayan (Water) diffuses Akk's (Fire) tears.

In this moment, we can now see Akk (Fire) in Ayan's (Water) space.

Akk (Fire) ignited his true feelings and confidence to kiss Ayan (Water) first.

In Only Friends, we can see that in this moment was the first time SandRay had talked without hostility laced in their words in Sand's (Fire) space.

Ray (Water) approached Sand (Fire) with pure curiosity and interest by asking Sand (Fire) to lit his cigarette.

Lastly, in this moment, Sand (Fire) is in Ray's (Water) space where the waters of their relationship were tested with a wave named Boeing.

But as we know, compared to Sand and Boeing's stale kiss, Sand (Fire) kissed Ray (Water) fiercely and hastily to which, Ray (Water) profoundly kissed him back.
