Do you think this is a pretty sight? This is the reality of having anorexia for 12+ years. The reality of what eating disorders can do to your body.

When I was in high school and then in college getting my bachelors degree, I spent more time in hospitals and treatment centers than I did out of them.

And then I found out

My organs failed. Permanently.

Last year, I needed major surgery that took about 4 HOURS, and after that I was admitted to the hospital for a week on heavy pain medications, being wheeled around because I couldn’t walk.

I had tubes everywhere.

I had to medically withdraw from graduate school because I had to spend that time in doctors offices, infusion centers for IVs, in the ER, or admitted into the hospital.

Now I have a 6 inch scar across my abdomen and will be on medications for the rest of my life to help my heart and stomach function enough to keep me alive.

I’ve nearly died multiple times from the ED, but I had never believed that my organs could shut down and leave me to deal with that reality for the rest of my life.

That is not a way anyone should have to live life.

This is what an eating disorder looks like. Not the “thinspo” everyone sees on the Internet. This is what you don’t see behind those pictures and it’s not pretty.

Harry and Meghan’s original statement on their Instagram said they wished to divide their time between North America and the UK, while becoming financially independent but still working for the Crown. The queen said no. They can’t do both. Now Harry and Meghan have let their staff go and are closing their BP office. A natural consequence, which to me means their original statement of dividing their time between both North America and the UK has been amended to mean just North America. Or am I missing something that is supposed to make them closing their UK office somehow shocking? Why would they keep their UK staff and office if they are no longer senior working royals?

The British press essentially want to blame Harry and Meghan for a decision the queen made about their future. Harry and Meghan wanted both. They wanted a progressive new role within the institution, which you could argue was too lofty a plan, and the idea of that was deemed too progressive. Still, they wanted to do both. The focus should be on the outdated institution and why they couldn’t see what they are losing and adjust somewhat to work with them.

Also, how did some people expect Harry and Meghan to make money? They want to become financially independent, they are now making connections with people who can provide that. Provide a lot of it, so they can become completely independent as soon as possible. Isn’t that a good thing?

Do I have to post all the hateful and racist messages of these people so that finally you open your eyes?

These two opposing camps exist because Cambridge fans don't support Meghan's presence in the British monarchy.

A woman of black descent, intelligent, educated and in love with a white prince. It's a heresy for these people.

Cambridge fans tell me about the "race card". Sorry, but not sorry, you're a majority of racists and that's the truth.

The United Kingdom is racist. The monarchy is racist. British media are racist.

White people didn't enslave black people thanks to their intelligence, they enslaved black people by using the physical force, the rape and the murder. If you think we're stupid, you're wrong. We are neither weak nor manipulable. Fuck you.

Nothing, absolutely nothing that you will say or do will have value in this world because you are all devils.

I am an extreme believer and I am convinced that anyone who is cruel to another person will not die right away, but will drag on this earth for a long time to suffer.

I hope your children will never fall in love with someone of color. I hope that your grandchildren will never be treated like a monkey or simply a doll to deflate with a knife.

However, continue to vomit your hatred, from what I see for 3 years, the more you hate Meghan, the more she succeeds. She knows hate and knows how to deal with it.

But beware, never underestimate the black people, let alone a black woman. The history of the world has taught us that the black woman is stronger than any other woman. She survived the whipping, the rape, the mutilation, the death of her children, the insults, the spitting, the injustice.
