Replaying kh3, and I am in San Fransokyo, and omg! When Riku said, "We were always trying to one up each other.", and Sora's soft, "... What?", what did that mean exactly? Was it disbelief or confusion? Hurt maybe?

It’s such an interesting moment. I think maybe Sora hasn’t thought of his relationship with Riku in that way in a long while- and I think the memory of viewing his relationship with Riku that way is actually painful. In particular because I think Dark Riku (ie Darkness most likely) was calling back to a specific very painful moment:

Happy 23rd anniversary KH!

This is a print run of 50~ I will be losing some to the critique in my risography class.

I’m open to sales if prints are remaining after class exchanges! Shipping would have to wait until at least my graduation in May

paper: cotton candy pop-tone

dimensions: 11 x 17 in

inks: risofederal blue x red (front), violet x orange (back)

approx 10 editions are also printed with an extra layer of green on the front, which functionally adds black to Sora and Riku

print job handled personally via university riso machines

This OOAK on scrap paper is my personal favorite. Still deciding what I will do with it

i’m going to hold your hands when i say this and i am only going to be kind about it once: ai does not belong in fandom spaces, ever. not in writing, not in art, not in video, not at all. it does not matter how bad you want to see your favourite characters kiss, or how much you need a bit of help finishing a chapter, or whatever.

make friends with artists. commission somebody. learn to draw yourself. ask for a beta read. try a writing partnership. fandom spaces are communities, so engage with them! it is about the journey and the fact that we all love something enough to create and build together about that thing.

spending 30 seconds to kill a tree and get an AI to push out some soulless empty piece of “content” is antithetical to the entire point of being engaged with fandom, and if you’ve taken to doing this you should really reconsider if you belong in these spaces with the rest of us.
