After a lot of thinking (and staring at the ceiling) I think I'm finally comfortable enough to call myself a girl.

I haven't been sure how far I wanted to go. I still kinda cling to being a boy. (Probably bigender or something idk lol) but being a girl doesn't feel like something out of my reach, something I'm not allowed to be. I've been on hrt for a couple months now. Gonna get my dose upped ASAP.

I wish it didn't take this long, but here I am anyway. Even if I don't look like it yet that's what I am.

I cycle artstyles extremely quickly and constantly in a neverending wheel of "oh that's some cool art I should ape that." And the idea of some guy complaining about me trying something new is so incredibly discouraging. (Not that I'm a big enough artist for that be an issue yet.) Still learning how to draw and now I have to upkeep a specific skill level or else I'm 'bad at art?' And some guy gets to feel superior about it? Fuck that lol.

Art regression as a concept to complain about is dumb as fuck any way you slice it.

I think the idea of art style regression is typically very ableist or just puts unnecessary pressure on artists. But also I think some people are often too stupid to realise that artists use different styles for different things
