i've subbed about 15 minutes worth of talking in french while neither french or english are my mother tongues. here are the things i've noticed so far:
-english word order in sentences is pure suffering
-french loves adding random noises to sentences and they sometimes change the whole emotion behind the sentence. as a czech, this is understandable to me, but i still don't know how to convey it into english.
-"Tien tien!" is extremely underrated and such a pleasure to listen to i love it sm🙏 instant mood boost

be careful with what series you watch/read during emotional points in your life because they will forever contain a ghost of your past self within it now

Okay, what about a knight whose oath is magically etched across their skin. Tattooed across their chest, spiraling around their limbs.
A knight whose oath glows gently when they kneel at their liege's feet, repeat the words whilst light peaks through the seams of their armor.
Marks that fade with time, unless renewed by a voice, by a vow, by a gentle touch.
A Knight who hasn’t seen their oathlight in years, but who presses their own hand to their chest and repeats their vow each morning. A knight that hopes the words might stir even a flicker of light even though their liege is so far away.

i did it! i made ayran for the first time today!!

this is how it turned out🙈 i'm drinking it right now! i added a very small pinch of salt so it's not salty, but it's very good!
it actually reminds me of podmáslí, but podmáslí is much more sour and thick (thicker than my ayran but that depends on how much yoghurt you add right?)
i didn't find bulgarian yoghurt so i just used my favoutite wich is pretty thick, but maybe i should've used thinner yoghurt, it would be easier to mix!
but overall it's very refreshing, a bit unnusual for me since i don't drink zákys or podmáslí much but i'm pretty sure people who do would love ayran
thank you for the recipe crow! i'll make it a couple more times and see if i get used to it :>

He was as tall as he was tall, and his eyes were the color they were. To describe his hair one would say that he had some. His face had all the features you'd expect, and none of the ones you wouldn't. "There he is," people would often say of him, but only when he was there. And they were right.
