I got similarly tone deaf advice while at Hiveworks and I am LIVING for these kickass covers

getting motivated to get Phantomarine Volume 2 rolling… slowly! very slowly

when I was with Hiveworks I was discouraged to have Phaedra or other characters feature prominently on the cover, because ‘no one knows who they are’

but I’ve been encouraged by others to rethink that, so… HM

Here’s a followup regarding some cool character revelations:

Lyra starts noticing something very, very off about certain numbers on certain accounts her big, big company manages. These certain accounts… are really big ones. Like, international, government deals kind of big. 

Given that she’s already on thin ice, considering the multiple HR conflicts because of straying hands (and the broken arms thereafter attached to them), and getting moved to branches away from the drama more times than she cares to keep track of, she decides to keep this side project of hers on the down low. After months (maybe even a year) of collecting all the things that stand out to her, she finally reaches out to one of the agencies that might help her.
