He who claims that being on your own is the best company you can have clearly hasn't ever had a decent conversation with someone.

Suicide hotline numbers 📞
United Kingdom 🇬🇧 116 123
United States 🇺🇸 1-800-273-8255
Canada 🇨🇦 1 800 456 4566
Ireland 🇮🇪 116 123
Philippines 🇵🇭 2919

Someone dies from suicide every 40 seconds. Please don’t suffer in silence, talk to somebody. If I can stop anybody else, even just one person from attempting what I attempted then I’ll be worthwhile.
You’re never alone. If anybody has any helpiline numbers from another country that they’d like to add then please do
I know what it’s like to have nobody but you don’t have to!

“To teach how to live without certainty, and yet without being paralyzed by hesitation, is perhaps the chief thing that philosophy, in our age, can still do for those who study it.”

lay out intentions like paving of ease in future moments. “i’m gonna have fun in class tomorrow”, “when i go for a walk i’m gonna see so many beautiful things”, “i’m gonna have the most cozy night tonight”, “i’m gonna be very present with my friend on wednesday”, etc. see how easily the moment adapts. it’s like a little spell to set yourself up for goodness

“It isn’t possible to love and part. You will wish that it was. You can transmute love, ignore it, muddle it, but you can never pull it out of you. I know by experience that the poets are right: love is eternal.”

“You know, it’s quite a job starting to love somebody. You have to have energy, generosity, blindness. There is even a moment, in the very beginning, when you have to jump across a precipice: if you think about it you don’t do it.”
— Jean-Paul Sartre

Bitter
Well, there you have it, it happened. I am now officially a bitter person. I’m a bitter person fighting against the bitterness.
I’m not talking about the bitterness of sprouts, dandelion or coffee. I’m talking about that ugly bitterness you feel in your mouth when you’re sick, when you take medecine and then the aftertaste of it. The bitterness of a sore throat, a sore heart, a sore mind.
I don’t want to be bitter. Bitter is like the end, bitter is giving up. I want there to be hope. But bitterness is strong and the light is weak.
