Arroz I read 23 chapter of my book today are you proud of me???
I finished it all and it was SOOOOO good it's called legends and lattes it has YURI. But not really in your face Yuri
The Yuri is mega on he back burner but I kinda love that about it. It just sorta sits there unspoken and being slightly suggested st until like the mid 20's chapter wise. And even then it doesn't take a forefront much, which I really appreciate
Slay book. Slay book. The chapters, page wise, seem like they'd be too short but they're paced perfectly and work super well
It slays so much, super fun read for while I'm on holiday.
Speaking of which, I bought a couple books with me on holiday. My fav Yuri manga for the plane, and then 3 other books for the holiday. Legends and Lattes (which I finished today), The Survivor Wants To Die At The End (the prev books partially inspired the books I'm writing), and The Hobbit (cause why the fuck not? Already read it once in yr 7, so I think it'd be fitting to read it now I've finished yr 11)
So yeahhhh, is arroz proud of meeeeee???

Imagine if getting core mental trauma was somehow audible or visible. Like you're already having a bad day and you're trying to wrangle two toddlers and a bag of groceries and work was ass and then you hear the sound of something shattering and you just know that one of your kids' emotional core and sense of basic safety just fucking broke and you can't even tell which one it was.

Is there a distinction between acá vs. aquí and allá vs. allí vs. ahí? I was only ever taught aquí and allí but I kept seeing the others all the time and could never figure it out.
[copy/pasted]
They’re sort of like “demonstratives” in that distance is the key.
aquí / acá = “here” | the closest
ahí = “there” | next closest
allí = “there” | a bit farther
allá = “way over there” | farthest away
You can normally use aquí or acá but with acá it can mean “closer” as an adverb, while aquí does not.
So you can say ven aquí “come here” or ven acá “come over here” (more common), and you can also say más acá “closer”… but you can’t use más + aquí.
Similarly, allí and ahí are more or less the same thing and pronounced pretty much the same way, so you don’t have to worry about them except when they’re written down. It was explained to me that allí refers to a “over there” while ahí is a more specific place you’d point to or be referring ¿hay alguien ahí? “is anyone there?”
And just like aquí/acá, you can use ahí to say “further away”.
Generally don’t worry about allí/ahí. They’re pronounced the same way and even native speakers debate which means which; I’m just saying how I was taught it so I might not be fully correct.
And allá is “all the way over there” with a considerable amount of distance. I would classify it as “yonder” or “yond”… because el más allá is literally “the more over there” but it’s “the afterlife” or I would say “the great beyond”.
And “to infinity and beyond” is al infinito y más allá.
Using allá implies a very great distance away from you.

It’s something like this. More or less.
