Idea: The Color People

I’ve actually had this idea in the back of my mind for a hot minute but only just realized it somehow.

As y’all probably figured, the Color People would be personified colors and they’d teach children about things that are their color. They’d only be the most basic colors, no ‘mister sea foam green’ or anything like that. I also wanna avoid making them as stereotypical and predictable as possible, like making Mister Red a huge angry jerk because he’s red; the focus would solely be on what objects their colors are found in. The idea is that part of the appeal behind the Letter People is that their letters don’t have much to do with their personalities, that’s just who they are.

For fun, my girlfriend and I decided that I’d be Miss Yellow and she’d be Miss Pink. I plan on drawing the two of us later when I can, as well as the rest of the Color People.
