I'm in Act 3 and missing the Underdark

Yes. They miss the coolness of the place. The novelty of the terrain - bioluminescent mushrooms, gems and crystals embedded in the cavern walls - which don't hurt their eyes, unlike the glare of surface fire or the sun.

Their bros in Steelwake (the mercenary band allied with The Hidden Hand) helped them develop a tolerance for sunlight. At first they were restricted to night missions, then short forrays in daylight until they could travel for long periods with little trouble.

They do get exhausted with prolonged exposure, and feel hot quicker than most.
