Some Anti-AI banners i made, anyone is free to use them, no credit necessary. Light mode and Dark mode versions.
Art and writing and people’s rights need to be protected, and AI has been used already to steal, plagiarize, and be used to threaten people using deepfakes.
As an artist and a writer, it’s an insult to my craft to see AI “works” along side mine.
Like i said, anyone is welcome to save/put these banners on their blog, or on posts, please just reblog this if you do.

So I recently saw this post about a video where a woman is saying "trans men are men because this one trans man yapped at me for ages about a history topic I didn't ask about" and while that post does bring up really good points ("is it mansplaining or is it just a man talking about a topic you aren't interested in"), I'd like to point out how this is actually one of the functions of transandrophobia.
It takes a very neutral behaviour - talking at length about a topic of interest - and, because of our gender identity as men or masculine, it takes that behaviour and turns it into something seen as "annoying" or "cringe" and demonises it as a specifically male behaviour.
It's malgendering as well, "trans men really are men because they're doing this thing I perceive as negatively associated with cis men".
There is something to say about how, within the context of the video, it didn't seem like the actual dude was "mansplaining" - which is a real misogynistic behaviour. But the post linked talks about that in depth so I'll only briefly touch on it here.
There is a difference between talking down to someone you perceive as less knowledgeable (in the case of mansplaining, men talking down to women because they see them as unintelligent due to misogyny, especially about a subject the woman does have an understanding of), and just talking at length about a topic that someone isn't interested in.
The latter of course gets twisted into misogynistic and annoying/cringe behaviour literally due to the person's gender identity.
And of course all that is to say, actually maybe you should let trans men speak because we are more erased and invisible than even cis women. Why are you (person in the video), as a cis person, putting negative gender stereotypes onto a trans person?

actually im gonna post my rant here too. i sent this to my friends but i think i wanna share it publically aswell.
i just saw a tiktok of a woman saying "to the trans men who keep saying 'what about trans men?' to videos of people wearing 'protect the dolls' tshirts, just know that is the manliest thing you could do, seeing something about protecting women and making it about men" and im fucking sorry but no, that is not how this works. trans men are TRANS men, and we do deserve to be talked about and protected too. its not "making it about men" to bring up that trans men are always fucking excluded in conversations about trans rights. its making it about ALL trans people. trans women arent the only trans people that exist and im so tired of people acting like trans men and nonbinary people just dont exist or arent ALSO facing transphobia. yeah, when i see 'protect the dolls' tshirts, i AM looking to see if the person also talks about trans men and nonbinary people, because its so performative when they dont and they act like we dont exist. either you care about all trans people or you dont. im so sick of trans men and nonbinary people being left out of TRANS DISCUSSIONS.

I know it has probably been said before, but the idea that Aziraphale is the good one while being a landlord is outrageously funny.

Kinda fucked up that we all coo and sympathize with "former gifted kids" but never talk about the students who had to stay late after school or over the summer for remedial classes/clubs, who struggled to get above a C, who were given up on or punished. Who tried so hard to understand or just couldn't. Who were grouped with the "stupid kids" (a classmate called us that in remedial math btw)
Autistic kids and adhders who can't relate to their gifted peers and are constantly alienated by them. Kids who struggled in school due to dealing with a chronic or mental illness or physical/learning/developmental disability. Those of us who have had to drop out of highschool or college. Kids who worked so hard and wanted to be seen as smart, but never were. Who watched as their peers seem to fly by them in school, while they were left behind. Who were bullied and put down by those in the gifted and honors classes. Whose confidence was absolutely destroyed by education.
I love you all and I'm so sorry the school system failed you. I'm sorry you weren't properly accommodated and given the education you deserved. I'm sorry people put you down for something that they never had to fight for.
