crying in my room thinking about jj and aaron's friendship. thinking about the immense respect aaron has and has always had for jj, both when she was the media liason and as a profiler. thinking of how, when a team member is in hospital, jj and aaron are usually the first two in the waiting room. thinking of aaron's response to jj's pregnancy announcement, how he says "jj, you could have told me" with a soft smile, and jj says, "i know".

thinking of agent todd telling aaron that she hopes he appreciates jj and aaron says that he does. thinking of the honest and emotional conversations they have about cases, the job and the impact they have. how aaron checks in on her when he can see that a case is affecting her. how they understand the other's responsibility to their families, especially in the season four anthrax case. thinking of jj teasing aaron with that "you're smiling" and he smiles wider. thinking of the weight in jj saying "aaron" after will gets taken in the bank robbery in season seven. and how he gives in and says they should rush the bank.

thinking of the weight of the secret they kept from the team when emily faked her death. knowing that their only solace in this is each other. the only person who sits in this lie is the other.

i don't know, i love their friendship. they have so much respect for each other, aaron looks at jj with the warmest affection, the guidance jj seeks in him, the comfort jj gives him after haley's death and jj talks to him about things getter better. the friendship between henry and jack, that tells me they definitely spend weekends at the others house (the boys specifically but also maybe aaron and jj hang out too).

im so soft thinking about these two.
