Reaction Post to Skittle Steve's Creation And First Time Meeting People

This reaction post format is inspired by @illusion-reality-steve, go read Stress's posts if you like The Steve Saga.

Hm, so Rainbow Steve is basically a last resort. Maybe even an act of desperation. Interesting.

So, Rainbow was created in this place, I don't see any hoppers or anything. Doesn't really look like a machine.

This part looks like a meeting room, and for some reason Rainbow Steve's "storage tank" leads right into it? Odd.

He apparently doesn't know what a table is? I mean I guess he has an excuse, having just obtained consciousness, but he knows what paintings are though?

He really does not like thunder, to be fair though, it is an indication of power here, so I guess that makes sense.

"Wait a second, who am I?", wasn't expecting that, he must have so many questions. "Why don't I remember anything? [...] I don't even know my name." Yep, here comes the emotional damage.

Interesting that Rainbow Steve expects someone else to be there, perhaps this ties into memories of the Elders that created him. Could he hold their memories, deep, deep down?

So, like, do steves... bleed or is this redstone? We see so little of this place it's hard to tell.

Rainbow Steve is out here avoiding that hallway and his problems like Neo from The Matrix. Also, yep, no redstone up here, how in the world did the Elders create this steve?

Not even RBS knows what the stuff on the floor is.

Okay, no, seriously, what is is this place? It's just on the side of a mountain.

Rainbow seemed to have forgotten that he's only been one other place when he said he didn't recognize Green's house.

Ah, a Tree of Life, just like the Rainbow Tree of Life, but seemingly much smaller and made of actual wood. Wonder if we'll learn more about these.

That moment when Rainbow Steve is born knowing what chimneys are, but not tables.

Is "The Steve Realm" implying there's realms for other beings or is it just the overworld and then places like the Spirit Realm are the only others? I mean Sabre went through multiple servers before reaching the main one with Rainbow Steve.

And Rainbow Steve gets his name, ironically with the same thought process Sabre went through.

Rainbow Steve listed a bunch of possible steves, let's see what he got right:

Red Steve, yep

Blue Steve, yep, both part of the big 3.

Brown Steve, nope, would've been cool though.

Yellow Steve, yep

Purple Steve, yep

Orange Steve, not until the reboot buddy.

Red Steves just out here getting casually generalized as being aggressive.

The immediate realization Rainbow Steve has when saying Green can be a tree person is glorious.

He is here, if I hadn't already seen the first 4 episodes of this, I'd guess who "he" was (maybe I'd even think he was Reverse or Shadow), but since I have seen these first 4, I'll conclude the post here.

DevilsX AU Update 2: Electric Boogaloo

It's been a while since anything new has occurred here, but...

There was something that was never made public, so here you go.

Yep, new item for sparing Jevil and it has some interesting stuff about it.

Updates to the DevilsX route au

Changes to the route

In the chest blocking you from Seam is an early Bounce Blade instead of the Banded Sword [which is no longer part of this], following the route gives you the "threaten" act, which freezes enemies with fear and allows you to heavily wound them without them running away.

After the first heavily wounded ("Slashed") enemy, Ralsei asks something along the lines of "What did you just do?!" Or "What are you doing!?" with the 2 options being "Reaching the fountain" or "I'm sorry" neither abort but there is different dialogue,

for "Reaching the fountain"

R: …Kris, I'm sure there's a better way to do this… but… I'll trust that you know what you're doing.

S: ...Let's just get a move on…

For "I'm sorry"

R: …It's ok, Kris. Just, please, try to ease up on them. If you only deal a bit of damage, I can pacify our foes and resolve conflicts peacefully.

S: Or just, y'know, beat them up until they run away from us, like I do. They're still our enemies, Ralsei.

Due to the lack of the Banded Sword, not fighting Jevil is no longer potentially story breaking (you still get the all-character DevilsKnife from him, though and now the X-Slash you get afterwards is fatal).

I forgot to mention this in the OG post but Rouxls originally was meant to get noteworthy battle damage from the Nu Rouxls battle, now he gives up after you deal a noticeable amount of damage and his outfit and hair become very disheveled.

King has a massive health pool so he's safe from X-Slash.

You CAN keep "Threaten" into chapter 2 but it disappears at the first mercy in battle and doesn't work on everyone (X-Slash remains).

Cold‐Banded Killer route [Aka DevilsX route]

A while back I posted this onto Reddit but I decided to bring it over here to add onto with some new ideas

Original post:

The route:

▪︎Attack Ralsei Dummy 5 times

▪︎Use a new act to glare at Ralsei

▪︎Battle ends

▪︎Ralsei asks if you'd like him to go look for Susie and you can meet up with them when he finds her

▪︎Agree

▪︎Fight all darkners in the field

▪︎In the first puzzle with the spikes and 3 buttons there are rocks on the buttons

▪︎Reunite with Susie and Ralsei at the puzzle that requires all 3 of you

▪︎In the C. Round fight force Kris and Ralsei to attack, the combined damage gives C.Round a scar but it still flees

▪︎Susie says they did an awesome job before questioning why Kris seems so bothered

▪︎The Seap is closed but in front of it is a chest with a weapon in it called the Banded Sword (Light World equivalent: Pencil with a rubber band glued to it, "BandPen")

▪︎The Banded Sword stops enemies from running away and prevents Kris from missing

▪︎The first time you kill an enemy it'll do the red disintegration effect like in the actual game.

▪︎After the first kill Susie and Ralsei will both be concerned with Susie unsuccessfully trying to hide it

▪︎Susie and Ralsei's overworld sprites change to have more concerned expressions

▪︎Kill every Darkner you physically can

▪︎K. Round has C. Round's scar but more importantly can be killed due to the power boost

▪︎The crown is intact

▪︎Lancer is shocked but still thanks you

▪︎Susie says she's joining Lancer to be one of the bad guys when in reality she's doing it to protect Lancer

▪︎Everything is more dull and less comedic up until the Susie and Lancer Fight

▪︎Kris puts on a menacing look without our input to try and make them more nervous and back off in order to not have to hurt them and it just barely works

▪︎Rather than fighting Lancer, Susie will reason with him to let her try and convince Kris to stop fighting and promises him they'll beat the King without fighting

▪︎Susie joins the party for real… reluctantly

▪︎Go to ??? [Will discuss what happens if you don't do this/procrastinate on it in future post]

▪︎Jevil swaps your Banded Sword for a Spooky Sword

▪︎Beat Jevil up

▪︎Jevil drops hints about the Snowgrave Route

▪︎Get a version of the Devils Knife equipable by everyone

▪︎Keep fighting

▪︎Nu Rouxls battle (Rouxls with the K. Round crown) [pronounced as new rules]

▪︎No scene between King and Lancer

▪︎"While you might think of me as a villain to everyone else… I'M THE HERO!"

▪︎When King pretends to turn good you have 2 options, letting Ralsei heal him or trying to attack him, neither abort the route

▪︎If you let Ralsei heal King, it goes similar to the Chapter 1 violence outcome from the real game but Lancer mentions how he couldn't find anyone to ask for help from in the whole kingdom which puts a nervous expression on both Susie and Ralsei's faces before continuing mostly the same

▪︎If you try to attack the King, Susie will stop you and say she promised Lancer they wouldn't kill him

▪︎Either way, after leaving Susie will tell Kris they should go back to see Lancer and Ralsei sometime.

Notes:

After beating Jevil you get a permanent X-Slash you can use since Seam's Seap stays closed throught the route

If you try to be merciful immediately after getting the Sword, then the sound of Jevil's laughter will play, your sword will be replaced with a second Wood Blade, and the route will be aborted, after you reach the forest, Seam's Seap will be open and if you fight Jevil, he'll make fun of you, this prevents you from doing things like only killing Susie and Berdly, which while it would be interesting, would destroy the story [may discuss as a what if in the future]

Chapter 2 effects:

Only non-murdered characters will be in the Castle Town

Characters who were witnesses of the Weird Route trust Kris less

It still plays Empty Town instead of My Castle Town unless you recruit 5 or more enemies in chapter 2

There are less group interactions

A bright new au

Introduction

Kept Narratives (firstly set and also know as Kept) is an Undertale role-switch AU in which vairous changes in the universe past shift the characters roles and placements; the main being an alteration in the barrier-crossing event, in where Toriel crosses the barrier with Asriel’s SOUL instead of Chara’s. The universe is transformed after a great calamity, and everything appear to change.

Below there is a list that catalog the major character and their roles in order of appearence. In Kept, some roles also can be taken by mutiple characters.

Frisk (Frisk), the eighth fallen human, determined to save all the monsters. Baba (Flowey), a soulless doll that keeps a hideous mystery inside. Muffet (Toriel), the tutor of all spiders in the Underground; waits for any human to appear, so they can help her with her sales. Papyrus (Napstablook), an ambitious royal missionary sent by the queen; is more than determined to capture any fallen humans. Asgore (Sans), the sympathetic and friendly ex-monarch of the Underground, who now resides with his only living relative. Chara (Papyrus), a local troublemaker who hides their true identity from everyone and who seems to jump between madness and sanity. Mettaton and Alphys (Undyne), the eccentric leaders of the Royal Guard; Mettaton being the glamourous and famous hero of all monsters, and Alphys, his hesitant and distant sidekick. Professor Mew (Alphys), the harsh and bloodthirsty royal scientist with the free access to the most lethal and deadly weaponry possible created by herself. Napstablook and Shyren (Mettaton), the most acclaimed and well-known musicians underground and the main performers in “Flooded Fortress” band. Undyne and Gerson (Asgore), the most rigid and aspiring monarchs that monsterkind ever had. They rule the Underground with the strongest iron fists. Toriel (Asriel), the former queen of the Underground and Asgore’s late wife. She loved to cook and read the most diverse books; among her favorites, those on snails. Asriel (Chara), the young prince who fell.
