In Brazil, this couple planted 2 million trees in 18 years, returning 172 bird species, 33 mammals, 15 amphibians, 15 reptiles and 293 plant species to the area.
The whole world should know them. This is Lélia Wanick and Sebastião Salgado.
The couple decided to start the Terra Institute, a small organization that planted 2 million plants and revived the forest.
"There is only one creature that can convert carbon dioxide into oxygen, and that is a tree. We need to replant the forests."
Using only local plants, the couple rebuilt the entire ecosystem from scratch and the area flourished significantly, allowing the fauna to return; thanks to their work, Lélia and Sebastião saved dozens of endangered species.
"The earth was sad as I was, everything was destroyed. Then my wife got a fantastic idea to replant this forest: all the insects, fish and birds returned, and thanks to the new growth of the trees I was born again."

Netflix's Adolescence is supposed to make you all care about and support girl children and women, who become victims of misogynist abuse by teen boys and m@le children but what I see is everyone empathizing with m@les again
No your sons are not victims of toxic masculinity, m@le socialization and misogynist manosphere online, they are perpetrators. No you can't save your sons from being oppressors of girl children and women. We don't need more sons in this world, I mean look at the state around you. What makes you all think that m@le children can be rehabilitated
For once, call out m@le violence and stop making m@les victims of a system that benefits them. It is so apathetic towards girl children and women
I still remember people empathizing with Jeffrey Dahmer after Dahmer series. The media and it's messages' interpreters need to stop humanizing criminal m@les. You all are risking women's lives

Being autistic in the radfem space has been so freeing. I love how normalised it is for women to say what they mean and mean what they say. Dead ass so tired of beating around the bush and laying every single point under sarcasm and ingenuine remarks
There's also a very good amount of disabled women here, I didnt expect it, but it's so nice to see

TRAs loveee to say that women getting boob jobs, laser hair removal, botox, filler, etc. and men getting gynecomastia surgery or hair transplants are all “gender affirming care” but every single one of those things is solely intended to help a person fit more neatly into gendered beauty standards and I just don’t understand how they don’t see that they’re fully telling on themselves. Like it’s one of the most blatant examples of their core belief that gender=superficial stereotypes and that their ideology is entirely based on reinforcing binary gender norms.

just a reminder:
as an adult woman, you have a cultural impact. When you decide not to wear makeup, you help show little girls who see you that wearing makeup is not an inevitable task in their future. When you spend time with your girlfriend or wife publicly, you let little girls know that that is normal, too. All this is to say that your choices in society can let young women know that they also have those choices. I haven’t worn makeup in quite some time, and when I babysat little girls, many of them just thought that makeup was just something that “old girls” have to do, and were somewhat relieved to discover that they don’t have to in order to grow up and be a real girl.

The obsessive “I need to be the hottest person in this grocery store” mindset is so loserish to me sorry… you are trapped constantly viewing yourself through other peoples eyes and craving their approval and I pity you for not knowing the beautiful, simple pleasure and incredible freedom of looking kind of ugly while running errands

no human should be for sale, no part of our bodies should be for sale. call me a lunatic but the fertility industry is no better than the sex industry. surrogacy needs to be banned just like prostitution needs to be banned. human rights violations galore
