The main idea of this art piece is The Cimate Change and its effects on humanity.

The sad expression of the girl is an amazing detail which gives more character to the overall design. The nature element is constructed by using contrast between colors (green-white; orange-white; red-white; etc). Adding to that some parts are lighter while others are darker. The costume of the girl also has a few ligher spots which makes it appear more lifelike. The background is simple and does not take the attention of the viewer from the main part.

The use of vibrant colors creates a beautiful scenery. When I look at it it gives me a sense of calmness and tranquility. It reminds me to appreciate the beauty of nature which never ceases to amase me.

The strokes of the brush are so precise that the colors do not become muddy. Everything is clear and easy to take in.

The reason why I chose this image is because when I look at it all I can think about is that this is what our future could be like in a decade. It gives me hope that humanity wil continue to grow and create new and exciting things.

The neon colours used for creating this design present the idea of the future world. There are colour contrasts (yellow-pink; red-black; green-black) that bring the image to life. Every building is created with many details.

This is a cyberpunk style image.

Figure_1: Texture contrast. The design represents nature and mechanical gears. I used triangle and rectangle shapes, then put textures and used different colours on them.

Figure_3: Cubes in different colours to represent colour contrast. I also placed one of the cubes in different position to create orientation contrast.

Figure_4: I used triangle tool to present size contrast. Put black background and made each one of the triangles appear inside the other to keep the focus of the viewer on them.

The use of earthly colours creates a beautiful scenery. With the added blue color the design gives off the idea that the jar is being painted on while there is a miniature world inside of it which makes it more interesting. The details that look like pebbles below the jar give more character to the image.

All in all, the art piece represents the idea of freedom and the one of confinement. It kind of reminds me about how we experience a certain degree of freedom in our lives but confinement is a challenge that many of us have to face.

This art piece is created using detailed linework and vibrant colors. The background is filled with decorative details which bring peace to the mind of the viewer. The linework used to fashion the hair of the girl creates movement and that makes the art work come to life.

I picked out this design because of my fascination with mythology and folklore. It brings the eerie legend of the "two-mouthed woman" to life with its vibrant yet simple colors. The patterns on the clothes are a fine detail which bring more character to the overall design. The piece is rich in texture, with flowing hair that frames the two faces—one serene, the other ominous.

Here are the designs for my first worksheet in Visual Communication.

For my first figure (the big single circle) I used the element Point. After that I simply combined different colors to make it look more vibrant.

My second figure (right above the first one) consists of the element Line which I used to create a small circle. I also added a little something, I used the option Gradient for every single line to give more character to my design.

For my third design (next to the second figure) I decided to make a darker background using the rectangle tool, after that I used the eclipse tool to create four Shapes that represent circles. Finally, I colored them in red and placed them the way I wanted to.

My final figure consists of the element Colour. I used the Elliptical Marquee tool to create circles in different sizes. After that I used the options Fill selection and Fill color. I used different colors to make the design more interesting.

The careful details and delicate use of colour bring a sense of serenity. More specifically, the light colors, used for this print, evoke tranquility and respect for the natural world. The combination or water, land and sky, along with the portrayed mountain in the back, makes me feel as though time has stopped. This art piece also represents the harmony between human and nature. Moreover, by drawing the working people, the artist gives us a glimpse of a daily life in rural Japan while capturing the smallness of human presence in the vast, eternal landscape which is an indication for humanity`s humble place within nature.
