“ not to be THAT person but, ” he pauses for a second, thinking whether he should say it or not, then goes for it as he leans in closer to the other  “ what if like, the plane to amsterdam fucking explodes or something?  ” his voice is slightly lower, as if the watershed killer might hear him and get any ideas if they haven’t already planned on doing that. he wasn’t usually paranoid, but recent events had him on edge lately. “ i mean, i’m all for getting away asap but. is all of us being on a long ass flight the best idea? ”

tapping her dress with her foot to help it catch up with the rest, she poked out her tongue in a childish manner, “and if it was, would you save me? now that’s the real tea.” as her mind was a constant flowing river of  mostly useless thoughts, she had to use them on the occasion to keep it going. “likely the same person who’s been killing us off one by one. but stupid on their behalf because guarantee the boat will be trashed by the time we get off it.”

“ of course.  ” he smiles at her, amused by her current state. he motions towards somewhere away from the railing, “ maybe we should stay away from the railing just to be safe? ” blue suggests, extending his arm out if she wanted to take it.  “ you’re right. that’d make sense. i don’t think they care about trashing the boat, though. they probably wouldn’t think twice before sinking the whole thing. ”

“Last day to sign up for Cannes Film Festival trip, buses and discounted tickets and we’re all going out for dinner after!”  Evan had been trying to get more people in the film club since he got here - how could people seriously not like movies?  Movies were great!  And the Cannes Film Festival was one of the biggest international film festivals, and they were going to be two countries away - but, in terms of distance, it was like driving a state away.  Totally feasible!  “It’ll be a lot of fun, we get to dress up nice and we’re trying to get a panel of filmmakers to talk to students!  Anyone?”  Biting his lip in worry, he looked around at the dancing people and pushed his glasses up his nose.  His hairsprayed hair was now in all sorts of directions, with the amount of times he’s been running his fingers through it.  Evan extended a flyer to a passerby.  “Are you interested in a day trip to the Cannes Film Festival while we’re in Amsterdam?”

he wasn’t sure what he was expecting, but a flyer about a film festival definitely wasn’t his first thought. he takes it anyway, gives it a quick glance before folding it and shoving it in his back pocket--hopefully he’ll remember about it before sending his pants to the dry cleaners. “ i mean, i guess? sounds interesting. ” he shrugs, before taking a sip from his drink. “ do i need to be part of the film club or something? i don’t really know much about filmmaking. ”

hand gliding across the railing that was supposed keep the many students aboard through-out the night, even those who are tempted by substances, “boat parties always seem fun in theory. but who’s going to be the first overboard?” cartia glanced back at the other curious to their thoughts, her long dress causing a small stumble in her once graceful step as it caught on the wooden boards slightly.

“ well, let’s hope it’s not you. ” he replies in a teasing tone, referencing to the fact she just stumbled. seeing all the girls in their extravagant and fancy dresses made him feel a little guilty of his lack of effort that went into his own outfit. at least he was formal enough. he take a small peak to the water, then leans against the rail. “ i don’t know who had the fantastic idea of putting a bunch of drunk people on a boat. ”

- ̗̀  WATERSHED TASK 002: SECRETS

IN GENERAL: he hacked tatiana’s phone

IN DETAIL: 

he wasn’t the jealous type, not really. but he had every reason to believe his girlfriend was cheating on him, and this small gut feeling was enough to bring out a side of him that was completely uncharacteristic. his insecurities got the best of him. he couldn’t do anything to his girlfriend’s phone without her finding about it, she’s a software engineer major just like him. the best of the class, even. one of the many things blue liked about her.    

it seemed easy, and harmless back then. he was simply trying to prove what he already knew. his girlfriend was cheating on him with tatiana samuels. one of the few times they all hung out together, while her and tatiana were exchanging looks and subtle touches, blue took the opportunity to do it. the plan was simply to find the “evidence” he was looking for, and when he did that was supposed to be it. but for one reason or the other, he never actually terminated said access to tatiana’s phone. 

he wasn’t spying on her, perse, nor was he using any of the information against her in any way or form. except for the occasional snooping around when he was bored. it took him until a couple of days after tatiana’s disappearance for him to stop and delete any trace of it. 

DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW THIS SECRET?: no, maybe his ex. 

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOUR CHARACTER HAS TO HIDE?: not really.

lying across the plush green grass, her dress tucked tightly around her legs to avoid an unfortunate breeze as her bare legs soaked up the suns warmth. sketch book open as her pen glided across the once pristine white paper, attempting to reflect the un expecting figure before they vanished. cartia’s eyes had been wandered back and forth from a figure to her paper, silently. had she told the person what she was doing? no. in fact, she had no intention of sharing it. just as her eyes wandered off her paper once again she furrowed her brows as she had lost the figure, “well that’s rude…”

he’d caught her, from the corner of his eye, staring back at him every now and then. he knew better than to just assume it was him who she was drawing, but he had every reason to suspect it at the very least. after a few minutes, he closes his laptop. it was way too sunny to properly see the screen anyway. packing it into his bag, he stands up and decides to approach the girl lying on the grass. a small smile tugging at his lips with her words, “ i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to block your view. ”

Adam took immense pride on keeping himself healthy while he was young.  Both sides of his family had heart issues, poor dieting habits, and he’s seen the effects of that and, needless to say, it scared the shit out of him.  He didn’t have a whole lot to worry about, since he kept to his five fruits and vegetables a day, eating in moderation, and one unhealthy snack a day.  Plus, an hour and forty minutes a day at the gym made him a happy camper.  Forty-five minutes of cardio, and the rest of the time doing stretches and weight training - which is exactly where he just came from.  Under normal circumstances, he’d just trudge back to his dorm and shower over there, but he was planning on getting some lunch after this, so a change of clothes and all his belongings were stuffed into a locker with a combination he kept forgetting.  Halfway changing to basketball shorts and socks, he felt around in his bag and huffed to himself.  “Shit.”  Not only did he forget to pack a shirt like a dolt, he left his earbuds out on the gym floor.  He straightened his hair out a little bit in the mirror, before gathering his stuff and making quick detective work so he could move out as fast as possible to chuck everything in his car.  His shoulder hit someone else’s, almost sliding his bag down his arm from the impact.  “Whoa, sorry!”

if he wanted his spot in the lacrosse team, blue had to make sure he stayed fit for it, like everyone else. though lately with everything that was going on, it was a little hard to stay motivated. and even harder to want to stay in shape. but he did his best. most of the time, anyway. he was headed to the locker room, done for the day, when he bumps into someone. or more like someone bumps into him, hitting his shoulder. “ watch out man, if you break it you pay it. ” he said, jokingly. “ you okay? ”
