"Other than watching where he's going, I don't have any notes. We've adapted to one another's style perfectly, so changing anything would actually be disadvantageous."

Have either of you ever had to bail Eggette out of trouble with Eggman? If so, how did that go?

"Let's talk about something else."

Orbot, do you think you've any lingering feelings for Infinite, despite everything? How do you navigate such a... Intense breakup?

"What else? I work. It's not like he gave me an option. Like any of them did. He chose a more innocent version of me, for God's sakes. It doesn't matter what I think. What I feel. What I want. I'm just... the discarded one."

Do the two of you share social groups, or do you each have your own circle of friends and buds? Do you hang out with the other badniks, or have you made any mobian friends?

"Errr, we used to... Back before we were promoted to the Boss' personal bodyguards, we used to get out more. Missions, occupation, that sort of thing. We were deployed to Metropolis quite often, and we had more time to make acquaintances with Empire Loyalists. Cubot got to play fetch more often, too. Those were the days!"

Cubot, do you ever feel a conflicting sense of loyalty between protecting Orbot and obeying Eggman? How do you reckon with something like that?

"I ALWAYS PROTECT MY BUDDY! IF I CAN DO SOMETHIN', I'LL DO IT... THE BOSS IS THE BOSS, BUT ORBOT'S MY BEST FRIEND, AND HE DON'T DESERVE NONE OF THE CRAP BOSS GIVES HIM! SO THESE DAYS, I'M ALWAYS GONNA PROTECT HIM. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TA ME!"

Cubot, do you ever feel like you can't talk to Orbot about your feelings since he's got so much on his plate already?

"Y... YEAH.... I'M ALREADY SO MUCH TO PUT UP WITH, I JUST WANNA LET ORBOT RELY ON ME SO... I TRY NOT TO TELL HIM STUFF LIKE THAT. HE'D WANNA HELP ME ANYWAY, BUT, HE NEEDS A BREAK AND... I'M BIG AND STRONG, I CAN HANDLE IT. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT. WHY CAN'T I JUST DO THIS ONE THING??"

What do you think it would take for the world to see you both for what you are, instead of seeing you just as Eggman's tools?
