due to new found information, im inventing a new type of demon species for damon's DMC verse. vamp / succubus, and thinking of DmC's use of a succubus would definitely play into damon's internal battle of letting people in after or committing good deeds with good intentions. cause, he sees himself as a monster, he doesn't want to ruin the good with his poisoned fingertips. so being a mixture of two beings majorly shunned by humans makes it nearly equivalent to how he's treated in series.

plus i love the idea of someone liking him despite knowing exactly what he is, and he tries to push them away but at the same time it's the first time he's been liked besides just his looks of their own violation. and i feel like being a being a succubus and a vampire doubles on the things he needs to survive, so he really has to do what he has to do in order to see another day, whether its drink someone dry or sap life away from his prey through energy.
