frayed sleeves and legs SWAY as amla takes a seat among the café’s patrons, thankful that she isn’t working tonight lest they’d give her trouble in the kitchen. despite the fabric which protects the privy parts of her body from her slightly sheer costume, the usually modest woman still feels inclined to peek down at herself every so often as assurance — or due to SECOND-GUESSING, she can’t be sure of which herself. she’s otherwise relaxed as customers mingle and take in the night’s entertainment, though bonnie’s appearance snaps amla out of her remote daze and leads her to peek under the table with a curious smile. “ of course, ” she chuckles, glancing between owner and pet in doing so, “ he won’t settle, huh ? ” moving one of her arms to rest it on top of the table sees her coming to a realization, soon dangling her sleeve with intent. “ though this could be what’s brought him here. ”

            it   was   an   impressive   cosplay   in   comparison   to   a   costume   you’d   find   on   a   rack   at   spirit   halloween   or   party   city   .   along   with   her   costume   she   had   her   cat   companion   SPIT   with   a   crescent   moon   taped   on   his   forehead   to   forgo   the   role   of   SAILOR   MOON’S   own   trusted   companion   ,   luna   .   however   spit   found   it   troubling   to   stay   in   character   throughout   the   evening   .   he   leaped   out   of   bonnie’s   arms   and   SCURRIED   elsewhere   leaving   bonnie   not   only   dumbfounded   but   REGRETFUL   that   she’d   brought   him   along   .    ❝   i’m   sorry   —   ❞   she   began   approaching   one   of   the   guests   .    ❝   my   cat   ran   under   your   table   ,   do   you   mind   if   i   just   —   ❞   she   motioned   downward   to   grab   the   sneaky   bastard   .    ❝   grab   him   really   quickly   ?   ❞

a strand of BLONDE falls in front of dree’s face as she sips her italian soda, her free hand coming up to brush it over her shoulder once the straw leaves her lips. the evening has been going well thus far, albeit with a specific hiccup; she’s certain that she’s almost whacked multiple people with her fake katana since leaving her apartment, not willing to believe that it probably HAS made contact with some unfortunate bystander. nonetheless, she’s comfortable on a lounging chair with the weapon in question flat on the floor and at her feet, taking in the spirited, almost full establishment. “ the amount of tethered costumes here is unreal, ” she observes broadly — she should’ve known it’d be a popular choice this year, but the people who’ve entered and left the café since she’s arrived in that specific garb still felt somewhat unprecedented. “ i’m just waiting for a stranger things group to come in at this point, that or a bunch of jokers. something tells me there’s gonna be QUITE a few of them. ”
