Teddy considered said snowball thoughtfully, then cast a sidelong glance at some passing first years who looked so apprehensive he knew they had no idea that he was related to Professor Lupin.

“Throw this masterpiece?  After I spent fifteen minutes ensuring it had the perfect ratio of slush to icy solids and then balancing it and smoothing it for maximum aerodynamics?” He said with a pretentious affectation, that boded no good for his fathers continued warmth.

Then he threw it, seemingly far off target, until the top spin kicked in and its path arched back around to smack his dad in the side of his head.  The first years shrieked and ran for it.

“I mean, yeah, that’s what it was made for!  Bring it on old man!”  He said with a grin.

I have this planner with these absolutely ridiculous pages with like “motivational” quotes on them that are just these bullshit things like “Let your heart sing” and “Always believe in your dreams”

and like that’s always struck me as such meaningless bullshit, I’ve always hated those. They’ve never had that element that truly motivates me.

So, I took matters into my own hands and I made my own artsy motivational wallpapers. Enjoy.

Animagus?

After Teddy broke up with Victoire he bummed around for a year or so, feeling very melancholy and sorry for himself.  He’s not proud of how he behaved, and mostly hung around bars and played lots of sad songs, though he was still the lyricist for the band his heart wasn’t really in it.

Ultimately though he got bored, and sort of sick of himself and decided that a good challenge was what he needed.  So he started studying to become and Animagus. 

He didn’t necessarily follow all the laws in regards to the supervision required for such an endeavor, but he filled out all the right paperwork, and documented everything well enough, that when he succeeded he got away with it.

And he did succeed.

Teddy can turn into a White Hare, with a brown freckled nose and ears... species indeterminate either an unusually colored European Hare, or a White Tailed Jackrabbit.

I just started wondering who the head of Hufflepuff house is now... because Sprout is retired.  And the upperclassmen of all the houses were kind of decimated by the battle of Hogwarts.  So who are the heads of house now?

I mean Neville Longbottom is a shoe in for Gryffindors head of house, now that McGonagall is Headmistress.

Professor Flitwick is still head of Ravenclaw House, possible to this very day, you just can’t get rid of the feisty little Charms Master.

Horace Slughorn could have returned as the Head of Slytherin House after Snapes death.  At least temporarily.  Probably took up his Potions class as well, maybe it’s just me but he seemed to be really enjoying himself when he taught that class.  But how long would he have stayed?  And who took his place if he left?

Which just leaves Hufflepuff... who is the head of Hufflepuff house now that Pomona Sprout retired? 

She was still their Head when Teddy attended school, and retired during his last two years there, making way for Neville Longbottom...

Teddy at some point comes back to Hogwarts.  I haven’t decided whether he would go in for Transfiguration or Defense, though I lean towards him being quite talented in Transfiguration.  I’ve even toyed with the idea of him trying to become an Animagus (more or less legally!), during his break with Victoire.

He may have ultimately taken up the position of Head of House, as he is an obvious choice... Prefect, Head Boy, and all around likable chappy. 

I bet he would have been a source of aggravation to some of the older Professors though.  Teddy is a bit of a man-child, and would have been chummy with his students and strives to make things fun and interesting no matter what he teaches.  Not at all a traditionalist.  I imagine the former TRansfiguration Professor would have been especially appalled at the light hearted atmosphere in his classes... but it’s hard to argue with his results.

Knowing his godfather will not approve of skipping class to see The Bent-Winged Snitches, Teddy Lupin calls for some spiritual intervention.

Teddy nodded.  Yes he had heard his cousin mentioned by Uncle Harry, and his Gran but only in passing. Now he knew why they didn’t say much.

“No...”  It wasn’t imaginary.  Of course Teddy knew that the people on the telly weren’t the real Doctor, but it was very hard to get him to believe the story wasn’t real.  Nothing that happened was too fantastic for magic. “There’s a show all about you on the telly! Only they don’t ever say your proper name.”  Wouldn’t Aunt Hermione be impressed that he knew the Doctor and he was his cousin!

“You slept in the Police box didn’t you?  That’s why the bed is so tidy!” He said brightening up as he found the apparent solution and worked out why Regulus was being so vague.  “It’s okay, I already know it’s not really a police box.  It’s bigger on the inside, and it takes you places, it’s really magic isn’t it?  Aunt Hermione says it’s science, but I already know how electricity works and it doesn’t do that, so it must really be magic!”

The boy didn’t wait for an answer though, he had been helped to his feet already, but in a moment of enthusiasm he flung himself on his cousin to hug him. “You’re going to be staying with us aren’t you?  For a while?” He was going to stay with them and take Teddy on adventures!

He was okay, of course, Teddy often took much worse spills than that. But he was still stunned as he picked himself up. He didn’t know anyone other than Gran who would dress up so nicely when they didn’t have too.

He accepted the hand up, gawking a bit, red marks on his chin and nose from hitting the floor. His hair slowly fading out from ginger (left over from his weekend enthusiasm) to sandy blonde, slowly darkening at the roots.

Why was the bed so neat, had he just gotten here, didn’t he sleep?  “Hello… I umm… whoare you? Didn’t you sleep?” Then after a moment of thought. “Where is the police box?”

A look of amusement touched his lips at the boy’s shocked expression; though he was sure that embarrassment may have played some part. While the boy stood Regulus remained crouched on the floor, closer to his eye level;

“My name is Regulus. I’m a cousin of yours, though I’m not sure you’ll know me.” He might have been mentioned only in passing. “I slept just fine, thank you,” he always did feel comfortable in the warmth of Andromeda’s presence.

“… Police box?” Regulus tossed a curious glance behind him to the room, seeing nothing of the kind, “There’s nothing like that in here—” he turned back to the boy with a smile, “Are you thinking of an imaginary game?”

Unpopular opinion

I don't like Sirius Black in the movies... Because I know for a fact his Animagus form is a Newfoundland Dog. That Scottish Deerhound they used pisses me the duck off, so I just can't stand it!
