Amy/Dan pregnancy plot ideas:

Dan switching back and forth between trying to seem like he doesn’t want much to do with the situation to being stupidly worried/overprotective of Amy. It gives Amy and everyone else whiplash. It doesn’t help that Amy really makes fun of Dan whenever he acts “paternal”.

Amy with mood swings/nausea: “It’s not my fault I’m pregnant with the fucking antichrist.””Well, Amy if you didn’t want to birth the antichrist you shouldn’t have fucked a demon” - Selina, probably

I’m not even sure what Selina’s reaction to the pregnancy will be. She’ll probably just be pissed the fuck off at Dan for knocking up her campaign manager just as she’s running for president.

There’s all kinds of nicknames for the unborn baby due to who it’s parents are: Incubus, Devil’s spawn, America’s future most prolific serial killer, 30 years worth of therapy bills, first human cross lizard experiment, etc.

We actually get to meet Dan’s family. His mother is a conservative Irish catholic and when she pressures Amy about when they’ll get married or where the baby will be baptized Amy tries not to strangle her. We also meet Dan’s brother. Amy acts ridiculous friendly with him and they joke in front of Dan about sleeping together to get back at him for sleeping with their sister/fiancé. Dan is… not pleased lol.

Jonah’s reaction when he finds out. Whatever that is. I like to think that at first he’ll feel betrayed because he thought he and Amy “were a thing” and he’s also weirdly possessive of Dan and their friendship. Later he’ll take it to the other extreme and become way more involved than he should be. Calls himself “Uncle Jonah” much to Amy and Dan’s horror.

Amy and Dan being a ruthless team of assholes again - except Amy is noticeably pregnant this time around 😊

There’s some sexist/demeaning rumors about Amy and her baby Daddy - Dan almost beats the shit out of one guy who takes it too far (imagine the Jonah/Dan/burrito scene. like that)

Dan wants to name the kid Danielle if it’s a girl. Amy wants Dan to drop dead.

Amy fucking hates life because she can’t have coffee or alcohol and it’s driving her up the wall. Mike (he’s still hanging around for some reason) prepares a weird/gross tea infusion for her and Amy probably ends up throwing it at him.

Maybe Amy goes on a “sort of date” with a guy. Maybe Dan loses his god damn mind over it. Like with Ed but you know… much worse. He’ll probably express it in an awful Dan way, like “You can’t fuck other guys while you’re pregnant with my kid” and Amy will have to resist the urge to set him on fire.

Amy and Dan are fighting and cussin’ in true DC style at a check up with the OB/GYN. The doctor makes some quiet, snide comment about how “lucky” the baby is. They stop fighting with each other to rip the doctor a new asshole.  

Amy overworks herself to the point where she ends up in hospital and is ordered bed rest. Dan is scared shitless and sides with the doctor much to Amy’s indignation. He’s actually quite supportive through it and tries to help Amy keep up with work from home. He semi-moves in with her as a result of this arrangement.

Amy almost breaking people’s hands when they try to touch her stomach :)))

Leon West is his creepy ol’ self when he starts working with Amy. He is visibly heartbroken when he finds out about the pregnancy, much to Dan’s delight.

Dan using the family man persona for his public image. Maybe a fake engagement? If we’re going with the cliché why not go all the way? Dan is really good at selling the story. Amy is not.

When Dan and Amy finally kiss because they better fucking kiss or help me god, it’s when Amy is like 9 months pregnant and they are yelling in each other’s faces and then they start furiously making out. It’s awkward as hell because Amy is about to pop and Dan is trying to back her up against a desk or something and lift up her skirt and basically it’s just a weird fucking mess lmao. If they end up having sex it’ll be even more awkward because they’ll struggle over a position for a while before going for doggy style. The more awkward, messy and embarrassing to watch, the better.

i’ve seen a lot about connor’s hair but how about how his wardrobe changed from button downs to patterned polo shirts. i mean. he’s still beautiful. but. why.

Ok so I already head canon that Percy is sort of this enigma at school because he disappears for months on end, has been expelled from multiple previous schools, has weird scars and a tattoo, rarely talks in class, has a brooding resting face and looks like a trouble maker, and is just kinda known as this intimidating guy (but is super friendly if you actually talk to him) etc etc etc.

But I was rereading the Lightning Thief and it suddenly occurred to me that Percy could possibly have this huge rep as someone you definitely don’t want on your shit list and is seen as highly highly intimidating because now all I can imagine is some kid at his high school going “You know, Percy Jackson sounds really really familiar” and looking his name up on google or something and-

“Oh wow he was that kid that went missing with his mom a couple years ago”

“And there was nation wide man-hunt for them and he was all over the news”
