there is a reason why heaven cradled children of soft lips and strong hands. i have always been a lady who hated how the sun kissed my skin yet i remember clearly how much i loved him near, never minding the scorching heat that he possessed. he was a boy of the light, a sunshine after the dark, of summer windy days and i wished i could play the hand-knitted kite with him. if i could only fill the void in his patched knees then i would. but little sol loved rising by himself yet he hugged the clouds like the might he is. god, he also hid the stars in his tiny pockets and shushed them until their time has come. bouncing up and down, running in circles, smiling upon the lands and oceans, the child of the sun gleamed in crystal glaze until the peasants didn't bow but held his hand instead.

and i wonder, how can such divinity weep when the night comes?

i don't like gulping down three cups of iced coffee in one seating but if you'd talk about where you learned your metaphors and imagery and other heavenly words stained with petals and pearls then maybe we can talk about having five?

when people say they'd stay, i don't think they're convincing enough

especially when they're just kids,

but i believed in you.

for a short period of time, i have wished that i had another younger brother that i can call my pluto. you don't remind me of my little brother except the height and slender fingers, the love for art, or the soothing company. you remind me of a person i've met from another world. in that space, i see us waiting for the skies to burn and waves to dance. sometimes, i think about the silly conversations we had and i wonder what lies under the masks of the young boy who stitches words beautifully and strangles everyone because he just makes us all breathless. theo, i don't think you realize how much i want to see you grow with me. we're crackheads and that shows, how much we click, how much i learned from you and vice versa. i'd love to hear more of your stories that doesn't just involve kissing girls your age, i want to know why you started doing the things you love, your dreams, if you want to propose to a girl now, and if i can be the wedding planner.

you probably don't realize but you make people fall in love with you in a beat of your heart. and i think that's your magic. something no one can take away from you.
