I've had the same job for 3 years and I've become friends with my coworker. In that time she's moved in with her boyfriend, ended that relationship, met a new guy, moved in with him, and just this weekend got engaged.

I'm so happy for her. I hope one day that'll be me.

So there's this makeup brand that is closing down called Joah Beauty. They're running a 50% off sale on their website and I bought about $72 worth of things, which amounts to roughly 5.50 per item that I paid for.

In the last couple of years, I've bought makeup from 3 companies that have met this fate. Because of this, I'll effectively never need to buy makeup again, with the exception of staples that I know I eventually run out of - foundation, concealer, face primer, etc. Things I use on my face each and every time.

Eyeshadows? Never. Brushes? I maintain and keep them clean. Powder blushes? I hit pan on two in my life and one got shattered - I plan on keeping it moving. Liquid/cream blushes? It's easy to see the progress and it's SLOW. Lip products? My purse is full of them and they'll be tossed as soon as I empty them.

One day I'll struggle to pay some bill but I know I'll at least look presentable at work, for what it's worth.

God knows I don't need anymore eyeshadow, but this is beautiful and SO wearable and versatile.

my biggest MCR flex is that I have Gash eyeshadow in a urban decay pallet i bought brand new off ebay. It was like...$15 i think, and I'm obsessed. so happy to have the actual revenge color <3

another plus is the other colors in the pallet r SO pretty, so i got gash and some other rly good colors :D

Instagram sucks so bad everyone I know has this particular psychosis where they're like "why did he open the reel I sent him but didn't respond", "we've been friends for so long she didn't like my story even though it's my birthday", "they liked my event post but didnt share it to their story", "what does it mean if a guy i slept with 3 times a year ago liked my story" liiiiikkkkee who gives a single fuck people only look at that shit while theyre on the toilet or in line or driving
