I colored it. It sure is a Location. Hella depressing, especially if you're babysitting. They need plants but as we know, poor people and hostages don't deserve plants in cyberpunk dystopias (and the modern age).

I had this dream. A hitman (hitwoman?) was charged with keeping a hacker alive, contained and productively working on some project for the company. She, a rational woman, said 'wtf? My job is to kill people, not babysit.' However she rises to the challenge and keeps him alive and in line, which was like trying to herd a very sassy ferret that likes to jump into snake pits. His plan was to play the long con, get her to like him, and let her guard down so he could escape. This almost worked, and nearly got her killed. He felt bad, saved her, and brought her to his own safe house (pictured above).

This was a romance, and they got together after a lot of arguing, but I woke up before the end and I gotta say, the circumstances seem unlikely for a successful long term relationship. I wish them well though!

In the dream the greenhouse panels were more opaque, like weathered plastic, so people wouldn't have stared in. Not that the neighborhood was the staring kind. That could have gotten you into trouble. Tbh, this is an almost functional layout, for a dream, but when I drew it I moved the bed away from the glass wall because awake me could NOT handle the amount of dampness the condensation would cause to the pillows. Bro chose violent conditions for his line of work. And just life in general.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Ok look I have serious projects to work on. I just started class again. But frankly things in the back of my head have been nagging me for too long. The lineart was scanned in August 2023. I've been avoiding this for two years now. Perhaps my skills improved and that's why it was easy to finish (adequately) or maybe my spiritual gift is just Procastination. Because there is nothing like avoiding homework with dead illustrations.

Also I need you to know that I forgot he had Rauru's hand in the original linework. All the gold and ring linework was done with a mouse. and the painting bits, but that's normal.

We have been watching CSI Las Vegas and i have been pretty critical of the characterization thus far. Like the characters are good in theory and the episodes are fun, but the writing is kinda blocky. It is an older show, so i guess im spoiled.

However they just put the golden boy-retreiver Nick in a kidnap and ransom situation. And my dude i havent seen that happen to a man yet, other than Shawn Spencer in Psych. And he really went for it, he was having breakdowns and sobbing and screaming AS HE OUGHT, but i dont think ive seen an all american man be situated so helplessly.

In fairness i think those episodes were directed by quentin tarantino and i dont watch his stuff so maybe im missing something.

Edit: i may have some opinions but i am enjoying this show. There are lotsa fun episodes.

Okay seriously. Why do more people not ship Pidge and Hunk? Tyler and Bex ship them. Sam Holt has given his fatherly approval. Matt has decided Hunk is competent enough for his darling badass sister, i dont see why more people dont. And for those of you that argue that Pidge is asexual for Tech. Asexual is no sexual relations. Being in a relationship is still possible, if she was aromantic then she wouldnt want anything to do with relationships.

And for those that argue Hunk has Shay, Shay is awesome. She is Queen of the Balmerans. But she hasnt been through the amount of stuff Pidge and Hunk have gone through together. They are the perfect pair to fit “best friends fall for each other”. They work together constantly. They are around each other all the time. They argue like an old married couple. They even AKNOWLEDGE THEIR OWN SHIP NAME! “TEAM PUNK DOES IT AGAIN!”

Even if it is just a platonic super best friend relationship, this fandom doesn’t give their relationship enough credit. To quote Tyler Labine, “They are each others yin and yang.”

These are illustrations I made for a friend's fanfic a while back. It was a lot of fun, a lot of frustration, and a lot learned! I still have things i wish i could improve, but it was well worth the effort.

Her story is awesome, and if you like hurt/comfort and Zelda being proactive, give it a read! It was written before TotK, so some timeline differences there.
