i'm working with kids at a medical clinic rn and we had a 5 year old come in for an overnight study and he was decked out in superhero merch so i pointed to his blanket and was like oh is that a spiderman blanket? and he got really excited and spread it out and was like no it's deadpool!!! and my coworker was like um. you watched deadpool? and his mom just sighed and said not with my permission he didn't

i think that if you were to make a goncharov movie it couldn't just be goncharov. nothing can truly be goncharov. my ideal goncharov movie is a mockumentary about the comically troubled production of a failed 2020s goncharov remake, touching on themes of nostalgia and the way we remember (and misremember) and retell stories

Its obvious to me when people who post about canaries in mines have never met a canary. Like yeah the miners had a special device to revive the canary because canaries are one of the most adorable creatures on the planet and they make adorable little chirping sounds and honestly probably loved the sounds of machinery and people talking so it was probably loud and friendly with the workers. Whatever though maybe meet a canary sometime and youd understand
