I feel like there isn’t a lot of talk about the Webby twist- it made their family more conventional, and also like Webby wanting to know all about the mcduck family just to find out she is biologically in it isn’t my favorite, you were already in it girl!! No blood relation needed!!

it still feels really weird to me to have may/june ask webby, “well, what about your REAL parents?” and then having scrooge be her “real” parent.

i feel like it would make a lot more sense (in my heart) if bradford didnt consider webby as a candidate for the papyrus, just as beakley’s granddaughter. to REALLY push how much FOWL (cough some audience members) focus too much on lineage.

(also so that bradford focuses more on huey bc this was supposed to be season of huey…)

but WEBBY getting the papyrus would have been a really great “twist” that shows how much their dynamic has grown since s1… to where scrooge considers her an heir….

im extremely disappointed with how angones INSISTS that webby’s behavior mimicking scrooge is because she’s a clone! not just because she, yknow, really admires him. it really messes with the themes of the show imo. like are you saying that lena would be naturally inclined to evil like magica? the hell man
