Thank you everyone!

All my gratitude to the coordinators, staff, vendors, artists, and all of our guests that helped with and attended the first ever Body Modification Faire! This is something I’ve been wanting to do for years and FINALLY was able to make it happen! Couldn’t have done this without all of you though! <3

I have had a couple people ask me if there will be another and the answer is...I just don’t know yet! We’ll revisit that idea next year!

BALL ANONYMITY

All the credit to @saltsparkle for this write-up, used for her lovely OC, @fio-renze’s seasonal masquerades!

This is a formal masquerade ball, the level of anonymity you would like to maintain is up to you. Understandably there are limits to this due to how the game works, so please be kind to your fellow Roleplayers and allow them to be as anonymous as they would like as well. E.g., don’t assume someone’s identity unless they offer it to you first!

If you would like to attempt true anonymity:

1. Leave your pets, mini-pets and minions at home. 2. Turn your name plates off when you arrive. 3. Change your TRP name. 4. Whisper no one, lest your username be revealed. 5. Use “/e |” emotes to exclude your char name from your emotes. (credit to Seranna for this one!)

ENDLESS NIGHT BALL

Saturday, November 6th, 8pm Wyrmrest Accord (PDT) Mistfall Village, Vale of Eternal Blossoms (Main Building)

This is the last afterparty for the Body Modification Faire! The event runs November 5th & 6th Vendors: 5pm-8pm Daily Afterhours: 8pm+ Daily

The exterior of this familiar building has been utterly transformed by well choreographed illusion. Long support columns and bright shingle tiles have become ornate gothic buttresses and patinated metal sheeting that still matches the cant of the original Pandaren architecture. Carved gargoyles loom from eaves as you mount the stair to the grand entrance. The night is dark, and thick clouds drift across the starry sky as the White Lady, painted red in a perpetual eclipse state, looms large. 

 The great doors swing open as you approach, welcoming you into the foyer hall. A blazing fire crackles in the large hearth, illuminating the dark wood paneled walls and the lush, shimmering silk rug that runs past the dining tables and toward the first stately bar that seems to be carved from a single piece of ebony wood. A large, back-lit, arched stained glass window with the words “Endless Night” in deep burgundy looms behind the tender, and thick black velvet curtains drape to either side. This is an elegant, if cozy, place of respite to make those final gown and doublet checks before you head to the ballroom proper.

Music hums down through the celestial painted ceiling, and the wood steps have been graced with a red velveteen runner that acts as a guide up the corridor that is only dimly lit by hundreds of floating black wax candles that bob slowly in place up the length of the walk. The ballroom itself is grander still, the magic woven into the building making the room seem larger than it could possibly be. The interior columns have been transformed into carved stone piers with pointed arches that support a clerestory letting in soft beams of light from the full moons outside. Painted quatrefoil tiles mark the dance floor and a velvet rope blocks off the marble and gilt pulpit where the orchestra has set up for their devotional, and another bar sprawls in a niche set into the aisle that winds around the center space. 

 The final floor, a manicured rooftop paradise to rival even the most eccentric of Noble gardens, sprawls among winding dirt paths and dark hedgerows. The maze-like orientation promises nooks to spirit away into, as embroidered silk sachets hang from the boughs of sculpted trees — full of delights that match the intoxicating herb illustrated on their exterior and stitched in plea to “Use wisely”. As you glance out from the terrace edge and into the lush, midnight gloom, you swear you can hear the flutter of bat wings whirl above you.

((First floor bartenders will be NPCs! We will have a couple bartenders for the first hour or so near the dance floor, but they will become NPC’s after some time so all of our staff can enjoy! Also be sure to tag us in any moodboards!))
