Alessia, Pelinal, and Morihaus, a redo of a previous thing I did back in 2015. The detail is kinda lost here so it's hard to tell, but it was done entirely with stippling, no lines! (It took forever...) Happy Halloween!

Here are the murals from observatory in TESA: Redguard, because I want more people to know about them, as they can provide an interesting insight into Dwemer culture!
There's also this creepy fella
Boo!

A chimeri telvanni lord
i’ve put soo much thought on this… I imagine that in ancient times, levitation was not only a requirement for a “decent” telvanni mage but rather part of etiquette between nobles (commoners and lower classes walk). Shoes are a way to show off power and magical prowess, that you don’t walk and can hold that spell for hours in a council meeting, that you can handle being a Mouth and floating for hours straight while handling correspondence and handing out chores in the hall.
The peineta is a comb to hold an anti-mosquito web (either made of fabric oror bug-silk - the latter the most effective). And I wanted to make clear that her outfit is impossible to put on by oneself - another gross way of showing off wealth.

commissions are open!

i've been calling my first/main stalagmite "the trendless wonder" because every proxy i've run on it shows more or less 5,000 years as perfectly stable and unremarkable climate. which is interesting in its own right but also nigh unpublishable. well i just finished the isotope track on a second stalagmite from the same cave covering (probably?) the same age and it has the mother of all abrupt carbon isotope excursions near the base. this feels like some monkey paw shit jesus christ
#my well dated stalagmite has no trends. and the stalagmite with a single dubious date has the most beautiful isotope track#it aint FAIR

im so used to only hearing about chinggis khan from mongolian sources that every time i see a western source talking about any of the mongol warlords critically i'm a bit taken aback tbh. i imagine this is how little english schoolboys feel the first time they see someone disparage the monarchy

i spent a whole day, morning to night, re-reading the egg. what a beautiful piece of art. whether you continue it or finish it the next chapter, best of luck 🫰
working on what will probably be the penultimate chapter now :-) i still operate under the assumption that i have like two readers so receiving messages and comments is always very motivating and a good reminder that i should try and finish the beast. thank you for this message!!
#i know i shouldnt be motivated by comments but like these days i mostly just tell all my hcs and whatnot to larissa#and my brain gets like 'oh well the only person who cares already knows it so why bother'#but gwaaah i miss talking about this fic and the quite frankly stupid amount of headcanons behind it#ten years worth of lore and worldbuilding. all compiled in one mediocre unfinished unreadable tome for your viewing pleasure
