ok. alright. ok. the issue is that im messy. obviously. but that I'm

1. not finishing whatever im doing and skipping off to do smth else

literally i wanted to do an instrumental part but then i started thinking ab the other parts and went to do that and it's a never ending cycle

2. there's lineart in the text folder and text in the background folder. everything's everywhere bc I hadn't thought about much besides GET ER DONE!!! and that will make this so much more complicated

now the effect is done in the following steps, images from a quick tutorial i just told therma

duplicating your lineart three times

making those three new layers use the color fill layer effect for cyan, yellow, magenta,

then you're going to be oving the cyan, yellow, magenta lines up, down, left, right, until you're happy with how it looks

set the three color layers blending mode to multiply and add the colours on a separate layer below the lines. best results use a halftone brush! or halftone whatever

now. layer effects, the option used to colour the individual layers in cyan, yellow, and magenta, can be used on whole folders. so i can do this method and have every cel in a folder be a colour!

here's the proof of concept

now the issues are like

in the test above, the halftone dots on Kakashi's boots are painted on the background layer. with the floor and blood pool. so the dots are not getting the cym effect. ugly.

it's all so very messy!!!

would need a yellow tint to it for a real good effect
