I just wasn't sure how you'd feel about seeing me, so I decided to wait until I knew for sure." The older woman stood.

Kuvira ran a self-concious hand through her hair. She knew it wasn’t nearly as well kept as she wanted, and it hadn’t been washed in…too long. She had lost weight, and her skin was dry and pallid. 

"No. It’s not been easy." She glanced over Yumira. "I…for what it’s worth, I’m sorry. For everything. I never…I’m sorry."

She began to rub Kuvira's palm, knowing how much physical contact could mean to someone who had been deprived of it " You working there might even drum up some buisness. Remember the Great Uniter? Yumira shook her head " I don't think you'd do that. You're not that guard or the great uniter now any more than I'm that abused kid who lived in fear every day of their young life. People change for the better, and the worse. You changed for the worse but now you can focus on the better." She took another bite of her fruit and then reached through the bars " Even if Su wasn't the best mother figure, it doesn't mean I still don't think of you as family. The whole world can be pissed with you but you'll still have your dear old aunt rooting for you."

Yumira bit her lip at Kuvira's words she looked away before continuing " Just because you did some horrible things doesn't mean your a bad person.. maybe a really stupid person, but your not a fucking monster." She clenched her fists and stayed quiet for a bit.

When she continued it was through gritted teeth " I'm not denying you did horrible things and you deserve to be in here for some time. But just not all your time." She looked back to Kuvira and unclenched her fists crossing her arms. Her expression softened and she smiled softly at Kuvira " I know you, the real you. You're not just the person you became trying to unite the earth kingdom. Deep down, Su and the others know that too."

"No trouble, as I said, being alone is awful. I'm more than happy to visit. As for Su she's fine, still stubborn as the day is long but she's doing well enough. I can tell she does miss you but it will take some time and pestering on my part before she actually will face those feelings. Even when she does come visit for the first time I doubt she'll be terribly pleasent." Yumira cracked her neck and sighed before leaning forward and whispered " I don't know how long they intend to keep you locked up but.. just know I'll make sure you won't be in here for the rest of your life. One way or another."
