I was just eating a spicy dish and thought of something. Do Rocky, Calvin, Ivy, and Mordecai eat spicy food?
Not really. There were certainly some hot sauces around in the 1920s, like Tobasco and cayenne pepper based things, but compared to now, it just wasn't so much a feature of cuisines commonly found in America at the time. The Savoys would certainly enjoy "spicy food", but with the clarification that authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine is generally more about being well seasoned and flavorful-spicy than about being hot-spicy. (Although Louisiana Hot Sauce seems to have made its first appearance around the end of the 1920s.)
Anyway, Rocky'd try almost anything with the slightest bit of coaxing. Ivy probably doesn't have much tolerance for 'spicy' as we think of it today, and would learn her lesson quickly. Freckle almost certainly has an aversion for anything more formidable than horseradish at this point, and Mordecai would go so far as to write legislative measures in an attempt to avoid it.

how long will the episodes of the show be? same length as the pilot? and how many pages of the comic will be in each one? and i know this is a ton of questions but will it just be a straight adaptation of the comic? or will it have other things thrown in, like for example Mordecai doesn’t appear a whole lot in the first volume of the comic, will he appear more in the show than he did in the comic?
Episode 1 is similar in length to the pilot. It's not a straight adaptation of the comic. The season encapsulates Volume 1, and there are some sequences that run very close to what's presented in the comic, but it also contains entire chunks of material - scenes, conversations, flashbacks, music - that have never appeared in the comic. Because of that, I can't really compare page numbers with episodes.

Would Rocky be willing to train to get stronger?
Like if someone were to ask (or try to persuade) him if he wanted to train with them to get stronger and build muscle, go from spaghetti arms to fettuccine!
Would he say yes or would he poetically say no? 😭
Strength training? Oh, sure. He'd be game. What fun. (Don't leave him unsupervised.)

In the least disastrous outcome, he'd become quickly distracted with turning the funny, squeaky noises the gym equipment makes into a musical number.

I think I'm not as good at drawing as I used to be. I wanted to draw Calvin McMurray from Lackadaisy as a cop... but I failed.

David once played the role of a young hotel manager who was wrongfully killed in a play for Halloween in high school.
He wore this costume this halloween, and many people were surprised by it.

David has loved looking at the stars since he was a kid, so he has a telescope in his room to get a closer look.
David's family is Irish ancestry, and since time immemorial, they have been able to watch the stars, foretell the future, and guide people. Over time, this power was forgotten, but after a great tragedy befalls David, he is able to use it. He wonders what it would have been like if he had been able to see before the accident.
Now David is determined to use his prophetic abilities to prevent tragedy from befalling his friends. To keep Rocky and Calvin safe.

Jerome comes to Lackadaisy wearing a hanbok to celebrate the Korean Chuseok, but he has a paper bag in his hand. Jerome hands it to David, inviting him to try on the traditional costume... Although Korea was forcibly annexed by Japan, its spirit will live on forever.
Jerome is what my profile picture looks like. Jerome's mother is Korean.

I feel like I've been neglecting this place for a long time, so I'll be uploading drawings little by little from now on. First up is a drawing I'm doing for the Korean holiday Chuseok, in which my owner character David is wearing a traditional Korean hanbok. This is a very early sketch.
