bomi was born as the only child to seo minseok and han jihee. as a baby with big eyes and wide smiles, she was quickly whisked into child modeling, a world not too far from her mother's who was also a successful model. her father was a music producer for one of the big three labels. as such it seemed her future was set.

bomi quickly joined her father's label and, in true nepo baby fashion, was immediately ushered into the ranks of the idol track. however, as she grew older her facial features took a turn for the more - 'resting b*tch face' category. having been a "shoe-in" and a well known child of the upper ranks, she was never questioned and her determined nature was often mistaken for aloof, holier than thou inner sentiments. she often felt lonely and her true friends were far and few in between ( having to pass a rigourous inspection from her mother to spend time with them - "bomiya, friends are only as good as what they can offer you!" )

"just try this out before you debut" they said, "it'll be great publicity before you become an idol" they insisted. And, Bomi had no reason to not believe them. Not even when her singing classes were replaced with acting classes and faceless modeling gigs. keep a mystique, keep a charm! if people know too much about you, they won't get to know you. But taking on a role, now that had an allure. her breakthrough role was in a drama that quickly became a hit, one from a well-loved high school drama series ( based off who are you: school 2015 )

idol track forgotten and girl group line up falling through, pushed back debuts looked dim in comparison to her new roles in an era of dramas that lacked villain redemption arcs. how do you comprehend having a face that's easy to hate? especially in early 20s when she took on nearly any villain role she could get her hands on. bomi was notrious for being the rich family's daughter the male lead was betrothed to, two-faced in front of those that mattered, ruthless in front of everyone else. it soon became that the public was having a hard time differntiating bomi from her many roles that she was just too good at performing. when public altercations took place, her agency wasn't very quick to defend anyone, instead drawing more attention to their successful idol groups in current rotation.

- a foodie, often luring people to come hang out with her with photos of food because she absolutely detests eating alone (won't ever admit this though). - embarrassed of her earlier child modeling and commercial days. it's not cute gerber baby quality in her mind and would pretend it's not her if you show her ( show her; her anger is hilarious. ) - is known for quick temper and inability to tame her tongue when she's feeling pretty fiesty. it's gotten her in trouble before with her management, so now she bites her tongue so hard and grinds her teeth she has tmj issues. - refuses to watch or "monitor" the dramas she's been in, so naturally, her closest friends love reciting her lines ( the more cringey the better ) back at her. it's hard for her to rewatch because there's nothing she can do about her acting now. - her family is well off to the point that she really doesn't have to take on other jobs if she's in between projects. so she only takes modeling gigs if she really wants to. as for new acting projects, she now goes through the script with a fine tooth comb since she's constantly poked at her for her previous roles. - funnily enough, as long as she doesn't wear make up, her no make up face and non female lead roles make it easier for her to go around in public and not be recognized. she gets a lot of "omg you look so familiar!!!" and she simply shrugs her shoulders and keeps on moving. "maybe you're remembering your aunt's favorite church girl idk"
