Greetings, I have some excelent news to say. (Omggg what i got. Luck is on my side today :))

Right now I was just casually playing CROB and pulling some costume gacha and I guess I got lucky today:

And it's not Longan I know (my luck was sleeping ig), but I better be happy cuz I like Lotus Dragon like a lot. She is my top 10 favorite cookie. And I like yeahhh. After that I pulled again and you know what?:

YEAH BABY. That's what I was waiting for.(this image i needed to download bc my stopid brain said like nah we don't need this and didnt get screen) I don't have wind archer in my top 10, still it's pretty cool ig. And after that I got into jelly gacha and pulled 6 jellies 2 times and I got legendary on each attempt, like hello??? What is this luck??? And when Longan is gone too???

Hello!! You know, I was gonna argue that Fossil Fighters isn't retro since retro to me is like PlayStation 1, Sega Saturn, and Gamecube era... but then, I searched it up and yeah, DS is considered retro now........ I feel old.

To answer your question, Yes, I've heard of the Mother series but I've never played it myself. I've only watched a playthrough of Earthbound (Mother 2) and Mother 3 because a let's player I enjoy played those games! Even then, those playthroughs are now nearly a decade (oh god-) so I barely remember anything about it. Thank you, chillmen, I'll keep my chin up! qwq

Honestly, it would all be angst :P ASDFGH Whether Anon knew Chocolate Bark before or after being in the Dark Realm, the trauma of what happened in his childhood as well as having been trapped in that realm for so long is def something to navigate through in their relationship. The angst would just hurt way more if Chocolate Bark and Anon were in a relationship or even considered being together right before he got trapped in that mindscape. Because something I thought about is Choco Bark having dreams of being back home with Anon, thinking everything that happened wasn't real, only to wake up still stuck inside Longan's mind. And when he does get out and see Anon again, they're much older now, possibly with a new love or family of their own.... Perhaps, neither, they could've been waiting and waiting for Choco Bark to return, never losing hope to hear his voice again, telling those lame jokes that they loved qwq.

Again another plot including anon x longan

And it has something close to kingdom event summer soda rock festa!

Okay remember how they made a music rock event on the soda island? And it's like close to pineapple island (am surprise pineapple dragon didn't shut them up for begin annoying neighbours lol).

But what if it happened close or under longan's island? They know about the ivory dragon and decided "you know what? Why not make another music festival UNDER the ivory dragon themselves?" The moment they heard about chestnut cookie and his cafe they decided to do this.

The rest of the dragons this was stupid but they're sibling coded so they decided to watch from afar and make bets - it took a while to sway pineapple from "Don't you have pride?!" Phase to join - on who's gonna sway longan with their music/songs.

Now this festival is free style, you can play rock, jazz, lullaby... Whatever your heart desires. But know this: you fail to satisfy the ivory dragon, your faith would be shut and sealed!

Like someone could play rock and longan is just sending one of their eyes to turn that cookie into a statue immediately.

Kinda giving out danganronpa in a way.

Until anon appeared... Now the type of music i thought of was something closer to "moonlight daydream" by MOSQ.

Especially the lyrics when Anon say;

The moon is fading

Into the twilight skies

Oh god please answer me do i have more time?

And it's WORKING! Longan have sent multiple eyes and everyone thought Anon is gone! Done and dusted! But the eyes were watching and anon even tho they noticed they haven't stopped singing, giving it all.

After anon was done singing. They were the only one who stood on the stage and walked down without turning into a statue. Everyone were confused but glad at the same time and wondering do they continue or stop since anon was the only person to get out of the stage alive.

When they tried to continue, the eyes attacked the very first person who tried to step on to the stage as if trying to say "the winner had been picked" and even one of longan's minions took anon up to the ivory dragon's island.

When anon stepped in - or was forced - they saw a graceful dragon sitting on their mighty chair. Hand under their cheek as they rest their elbow on the armrest, staring with cold eyes at the cookie whose their music and voice moved, pulled a tiny, small string inside this dragon's heart.

"Sing" they simply ordered as its the reason why they had been brought into longan's island. Anon's job is now to entertain longan with their voice.

Definitely nothing more would happen, right?

The vision they had of an unknown cookie singing to longan as they were very close to comfort means nothing, right?

It means that longan has a new entertainment... Right?

(By the way am hinting that longan had a vision that they'd meet anon which a reason why they allowed the music festival to be held. But turned out that longan had slowly fell in love with anon because of their music, they find it calming them down and even help expressing emotions.)

(After all, you can express your feelings in more then one way).

I never did play through the summer rock festival story in crk so I don't know a lot about it but man, anyone who wants to sign up for the competition under Longan's island has a death wish XD I do like the idea of Longan holding the event to find the one in their vision. And Anon being like their little songbird sounds so cute! (o′┏▽┓｀o) It reminds me of this one song's story, if we go along of the line of thought of Anon not being fully onboard with going to the Longan Palace!

Besides crk how's your days been?

Hii, I shall take this opportunity to tell a little about what I've been doing lately offline =P since I've been so quiet, sorry.... It's been a bit busy for the most part! I've been doing my best to practice drawing, starting small with exercises and gesture drawing :> My hand has always been shaky, so I over-relied on stabilizers when I switched to digital. Even then, I don't get the lines right the first time so I thought tackling that could help me get better at it (and also just accepting lines for what they are and not crtl + z all the time （；´д｀）ゞ) And in that time, my aunt and uncle came over for a semi-surprise visit, so a whole week and a half was just cleaning up everything for their arrival and hanging out with them after! They're very sweet and it was nice to chat and play boardgames with them qwq They took us out book shopping again and I've unsurprisingly got more manga that I've been reading through and having a blast with. (●ˇ∀ˇ●) I've also been having fun with a gacha game that recently went global... that funny horse girl game that's been pretty popular :P It's no exaggeration that it has consumed much of my free time ASDFGHJ I'm planning on better managing my time economy with it bc yeah (⊙_⊙;)

Overall, I'd say that I've been doing alright these days! uwu

the second i heard the "heh" from longan i immediately recognized the VA the animation was fun, I wasn't expecting something like that from crob in the slightest

Assuming it's the same VA as the voice from the initial trailer, It's Jeong Seong-hoon. :o Pretty prolific in his work from what I'm seeing, one of his voice credits is Virgilius from Limbus Company! :>

I wish they'd just release the dragon's early too, but sadly the next several months are already revealed to us for Kingdom, thanks to a dev stream and some information provided via Discord

July/August is the filler summer update, September is a St. Pastry update, October is Silent Salt, November is awakened White Lily, December might be Millennial Tree Cookie? And January is Dark Enchantress for the game's anniversary.

Oooh, Millennial Tree isn't going to get released for September? :0 Aww, a little sad but for me, I'm kinda relieved. I wanna be able to draw MT at full power like I had for Longan at the start of the CR:OB event! And rn, I'm not all there, haaa... All the other events sound about right! I'm excited to see what Silent Salt will be like, considering I heard some rumors about it being confirmed that they will be talking instead of being completely quiet like how everyone's been thinking they would be. :o Of course, those are just rumors.

BRO I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN THEY HAD VOICE ACTING FOR THE ANIMATION AND THEN HEARING LONGAN'S VA'S LITTLE HEH AND THAT SMILE AT THE END, I FELL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN HEHEHE (ㅅ´ ˘ `) 💕💕💕 Tbh, I was preparing for the worst when it came to how Longan's defeat was going to go down, it wouldn't be the first time that CR has killed off a playable character 😔Buuut, with this conclusion, I'd say things are less angsty for Longan's Anon post-war uwu They would probably go looking for the dragon orbs alone, considering Dragon Eye's demeanor and the fact that they're surrounded by other cookies and dragons that wish to see the orbs destroyed. Unlike Dragon Eye, Longan could've told Anon last minute their back-up plan for when things don't end up going the way they want. They don't want Anon to see them as weak, but they wouldn't want Anon to worry and do something rash either. OfCourse, not admitting their reasoning as such when they tell them. It's bittersweet and anon will miss seeing the face of their beloved dragon, but they'll work hard nevertheless! In a way, it's a trial, to prove their strength, their worth to the Ivory Dragon.

I don't blame you, grand conclusions to long running campaigns in gacha games don't happen all that often. And in this very scene, every character involved was someone that we met on that journey and stuck to it to the very end. It really makes all those updates in the past matter. And there was growth! Example being the dragons who were introduced to us as all-powerful creatures who only care about themselves. Now they're all here, surrounded by friends, even wearing flower crowns. qwq We even had a reconciliation with Dark Choco and his inner demons, something only part of the b-plot: the guild party! I thought we would never get proper progression for him! At least not here! All the more reason on what this story is to this game as a whole. <:D

I was thinking about that one theory you ( or someone else has ) proposed about Dragon Eye Cookie being the child version of Longan Dragon. And while thinking about how could the three (Anon, Longan, and Eye) live together I came up with this scenario:

Longan and Eye are thinking of how to exterminate all of Cookie kind, while Anon is goofing around, constantly messing with Longan and being just a little, not understanding anything they think about cookie. And I think I have found good image to portrait it.

Now I can't unsee them 3 being like this.

Also if someone had proposed this theory and not you, I'm so sorry that I don't give credits to them, I just can't seem to find that post. So credits to someone that made that theory.

In the mean time remember. That's just a theory, a Cookie run theory!
