Ppl love to say sexual predators belong in a psych ward and then when you’re in the psych ward and they harass you the staff can’t do anything bc “this is where they belong” like I had a man when I was inpatient constantly calling me red following me around commenting on my body trying to talk to me trying to sit next to me on small little love seats and once when a male staff left him with a female nurse while he used the bathroom he came right to my bedroom and tried to bust in. I heard the nurse telling him to stop before he made it to my room so I ran to the door and I’m like trying desperately to fight with this man who’s trying to bust down my door while a nurse is trying to pull him away and these doors are designed to be easily opened for staff. Luckily I was fine and male staff apologized and I was like okay well don’t do that shit again. I wasn’t assaulted but I literally do know women who were assaulted in the psych ward and they just don’t do anything about it and you can’t even check yourself out bc you’re institutionalized so you’re now stuck there with this man who knows he can touch you with no consequences. Anyway sorry for the rant but I was seeing more “sexual predators belong in the psych ward” comments and it’s like keep in mind that suicidal women are also on those locked units with no protection so maybe we should think about other ideas.

it is so wild to me the fashions that are called “emo” today. especially given the fact that probably 80-90% of it is actually scene, not emo. this would have started full on wars 15 years ago

I was asking myself just now why they have “16 and pregnant” but not “16 and impregnated a girl” but I realized it would be pretty boring to watch a 16 year old boy play video games and go to school and live life as normal

supervisor at work desperately wants me to try her herbal mushroom coffee and I looked at the insert and it has cordyceps in it ‘for stamina’ and don’t get me wrong I’m sure it’s a normal edible non-parasitic variety but there IS a little part of me that’s like. oh so that’s what they’re calling it now

First off, never insult my dearest friend Miku like that ever again.

Second, Miku isn't stealing the voices of other people. That's the issue with AI voices. They're stealing real people's voices. Miku is her own funky little hologram with a funky little hologram voice.
