Boneveil Redesign

I haven’t had his original design for long, but I felt as though it wasn’t what I was looking for with him. He was based of this horse I seen with more white than black on its coat, so this redesign is a second attempt at getting closer to his inspiration (as well as adding personal flairs to make it more interesting for myself to draw)!

The lineart was rushed in some places as I really didn’t want to dedicate too much time to his redesign, as the main focus was on his fur, lol.

Hawkfrost

I’m not usually one to make designs for characters nor really draw art of canon characters, but inspiration really struck me here and I wanted to put it on paper! I’m sure the originality of this design leaves much to be desired, but I’m glad that I was able to get what was in my head onto the canvas <3

StarClan’s Adversary

Cootmumble is definitely not in favor of worshipping StarClan like the rest of the clan cats. This feeling increased significantly after he received his power of stealth for the Dark Forest. He speaks their name with disgust, and he’s assured that the agenda of the Dark Forest will prevail.

These gif sets are so fun to make, really pleased with how this project turned out; it's sort of a sequel/same universe and concept to my TBC one. It's fun to compare them, I think I've improved a lot in terms of editing/tweeting since I made it.

Wildsmudge

While I don’t draw him much, which can be said about the majority of my characters, he has to be one of my favorite designs! I actually rushed his first ever concept since he was being made to duo with another person’s character and I didn’t want them to end up waiting forever for me to design a cat, but it worked out in the long run!

He started out as Wildpaw actually, and earned his warrior name fairly recently. He got that scar over his eye (and a missing ear hidden by his hair lol) from a fox attack, he managed to survive with the help of the aforementioned cat he was created for.

Weepingpaw/lion

This is Weepingpaw! I’ve had him for some time, but I don’t draw him nearly as much as I’d like. He was created sort of on a whim to fulfill a random plot idea I had lol, so he’s not a cat that I find myself drawn too that much. He’s yet to become a warrior, but since he was based on a very loosely lion, his suffix will represent that!

Splitscorch

my evil kitty who’s joining a force of rogues who are aiming to take down the clans in the valley! She has a complicated backstory, which I’ll explain under the cut!

Splitscorch started out as Sunray was born to two loners alongside two other siblings, but her parents were torn between wanting to raise them as loners or bring them to the clan. Her father snuck her and her siblings away one night and brought them to the nearby clan - GorgeClan. He fabricated a story of their mother dying and needed a queen to nurse them.

She along with her siblings and father were allowed in. Her father has his name changed to Snowtail after training for a few moons to learn the way of a warrior, hers to Splitkit, and brother to Whitekit, and her sister to Flutterkit.

She was apprenticed to a xenophobe named Lichenhaze, who made it very clear that she’d never belong. With this, as well as watching the rest of her family assimilate into GorgeClan, she tried to win the favor of her new clanmates by filling the prey pile on her own. However her tail was caught in a fox trap, and it took a while for any cat to find her. It happened to be Whitepaw and his mentor, and it was obvious that Whitepaw was avoiding looking at her.

She had her tail docked to prevent infection, but none of her family came to see her during her stay. Once she was back to regular life, she was shunned by her family. They avoided all interactions, moved to the other side of the apprentices’ den, planned outings without her. When she became a warrior, her littermates celebrated without her.

In the coming moons, Flutterjaw and Whitejump tried to make amends with her, trying to rekindle their relationship. Yet she didn’t reciprocate their attempts. She belittled their accomplishments and recited all the hateful things Lichenhaze had said to her back to them. She let her frustration get the better of her when she lashed out at Whitejump while on a duo patrol, angered by his confrontation about her sour mood.

Lost in her rage, she killed him. However the confrontation was a plan not made alone. Flutterjaw and Snowtail had been watching from the vegetation, and when she murdered Whitejump, they swept in and launched their own attack. Splitscorch managed to escape with her life, severely wounding Flutterjaw - something that would later kill her. She spent moons as a loner before we arrive at her current state as a lackey for Fangleap [played by amother user] and his gang.

Brinystriker

As you probably did not know all the cats I’ve post this far are from a wonderful roleplay server I’m in called Shadows of the Valley on Discord! Yes, every single one, I’m afraid 💔

I’ve recently made a new kitty that I’m obsessed with, her name is in the title - but I’ll say it again as I absolutely adore it - Brinystriker!

She started life as a loner named Salty with two sisters, Thaw and Seaweed, born to her mother, Precious, and her father, Shrimp. She was the oldest of the three and the biggest, and quickly assumed leadership over her littermates. Her family was not concerned about each other’s whereabouts so long as they could survive. This made it easy to explore without worry of trouble.

She spent a lot of her time chasing thrills and putting her sisters into danger for the adrenaline rush - a real daredevil when it come to escaping sticky situations. Her family were nomads, so she eagerly explored the new places they stopped in, hardly ever living a corner untouched. Eventually made it to the peak of mountain range that encircled the clans’ territory, and breaking off her family, she went down into the valley to explore on her own.

Unaware of the clans living around the lake, she quickly learned the hard way that she wasn’t free to roam wherever. She was chased off one of the territory by a patrol, but it didn’t hurt her spirit too much. After all, she continued to cross the scent markers whenever she liked. No cat could tell where she couldn’t put her paws.

Eventually she found herself in MarshClan and met a future friend (and possible love interest) named Mossripple (played by another person in the server!), who was Mosspaw at the time. She was chased off again by the patrol he was in, but MarshClan was incredibly different from the flat plains and rocky terrain she knew well. It drew her in.

She couldn’t keep away, and often found herself running into Mosspaw. At first she was not eager to become friends, he was too shy and she had no interest in befriend clan cats, but eventually found herself enjoying his company. When she was injured by a fox and in need of medical attention, he was there to help. Bring a medicine cat or two to her aid, her wounds were patched up.

Now Salty wouldn’t have considered joining the clans up until that point, but seeing the medicine cats in action as well as the beauty of MarshClan - and well…Mosspaw was a nice added bonus - she was convinced that this was something she wanted to do. It took some convincing and a lot of hard work to prove her loyalty to the clan, but she was accepted into their ranks.

She trained under Crabpinch without much trouble, learning the values of a warrior and the skills necessary to survive in the marshes, and earn her warrior name alongside Mosspaw. Brinystriker, a full warrior at last, and it’s been that way for a handful of moons.
