My favourite luxury hotels: the side of me that craves opulent stays
Being a full time traveller, a budget is my lifeline that I cannot miss stepping’ with. Throughout my journeys, I’ve made sure I go with the cheapest options (and sometimes even free ones). It’s something we travellers need to do so that we don’t have to go back to the city and sit in front of computers to make enough money to travel again. Personally, I don’t mind at all. Every night I have a full stomach of homely food and a bed to sleep on, so I’m happy.
However, I had a change of mind once that made me bust the bank. I was in Shimla and made conversation with a couple travelling there; they told me about their stay in a luxury hotel. I smirked; That kind of stuff isn’t for me. However, I saw the pictures and was shocked. It was beautiful and I wanted to stay there even though it meant I had to shorten my trip. On some thought, I agreed to my greedy mind since I’d been to Shimla many times before. I, surprisingly enough, didn’t regret it at all.
I continued staying in luxury hotels, though it was rare for me to do so. Here are a few of my favourites:
 1. Wildflower Hall, Shimla
Tumblr media
The couple I bumped into showed me a few pictures from their stay, and I decided to spend the night at Wildflower Hall. The hotel from afar looks magical, surrounded by forests and at the top of a hill. The views and decor is splendid and the amenities are great too.
I could even enjoy swimming in the freezing temperatures and go cycling and do yoga. The luxury experience encouraged me to try our more of such stays. Unfortunately, I could stay here only for one night, but I’m looking forward to going again.
 2. Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai
Tumblr media
Since I am from Mumbai, I have seen this hotel and heard of its luxuries several times. One lucky day, I got the chance of staying here for a couple of days with family. I promise you, the praises this place has are not exaggerated at all.
The food was delicious and the rooms dreamlike, especially because of the view. The hotel makes one feel royal because not only are you right next to the Gateway of India but also staying in a iconic structure that contributes immensely in forming the face of Mumbai.
 3. Banjaar Tola, Kanha National Park
Tumblr media
Banjaar Tola is another one of Taj’s wonders, located in the lap of Kanha National Park, UP. Wildlife is my favourite aspect of travel and during my journeys, I’ve become good friends with several wildlife photographers, documentary makers and environmentalists. Kanha National Park was amazing and Banjaar Tola was like dessert after a delicious meal.
The difficult blend of wildlife and luxury was done perfectly here, and while I felt royal I felt in sync with nature at the same time. I had breakfast in the woods by a river and by evening, I was sitting in a comfortable chair by the fire gazing at stars.
4. Kings Cliff, Ooty
Tumblr media
I spent my school days in Ooty, and so I got the opportunity at staying at Kings Cliff. The scenic beauty is worth a mention but what won my heart was something completely different. This hotel, dating back almost a hundred years, serves delicious food that will make your trip to Ooty worth, atleast hunger wise.
The campus isn’t ostentatious but very pleasant. There is definitely a royal feel to this hotel.
 5. SUJÁN, The Serai, Rajasthan
Tumblr media
India is very diverse geographically. As dead the deserts of Rajasthan seem, they are just as magical. Here, I came across a hotel that sets the perfect mood in the middle of the desert. The decor blends luxury with the culture of Rajasthan and the food resonates with the royal state.
The hotel even arranges shows, events and activities for guests to experience Rajasthan.
Even though I don’t stay at luxury hotels frequently, whenever I do I make sure I get the best deals. There are many travel and tour agency in India, but I personally suggest BookMyTicket since the deals and customer service is exceptional. When I’m not staying as such fancy places, I still enjoy my local stays and budget travelling, but I do recommend everyone to stay at a luxury haven at least once to feel royal.

A Few Tips for Road Trips out of my Experience
My feet did not reach the ground when I first rode a bike, my dad sat behind me to break any fall but there were none. The cycle was obsessive enough and now this machine that went much faster won my heart. I had to wait a long time before I could ride one on my own, but the time came.
My dad gifted me my first bike when I was 18 (along with a helmet). I couldn’t wait to tell my friends, but more importantly, I couldn’t wait to ride it to Lonavala which is right beside Mumbai. I did so soon enough with a group of amateur riders. I later on went further to Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu too.
Throughout my biking journey, I learned a few thumb rules every biker must follow to avoid hassle during the journey. In my experience, road trips can be ruined if these rules are avoided, which is very shameful because the rules are so simple yet so crucial:
1. Meet up before the ride
Have a general meet up a few days before mounting your bikes. Go over the routes and share ideas with the group. It is best when people makes the rules and responsibilities clear prior to the trip to avoid conflicts and problems. A general meet up is an opportunity to go over the most important aspect: the route.
Most of my bike trips have moments when a member misses a turn, but there is no shame or surprise in that; it could happen to anyone. Also, some people forget vital belongings back at home such as water bottles, lotion and ropes, so this meet will allow people to systematically list down the needed items.
 2. Safety Check
Safety goes much beyond wearing a helmet. If you are going to be riding with your friends for a few days, there are a bunch of things to take care of because if the situation calls, you are responsible for your fellow riders too.
In the meet up, discuss the safety precautions such as jackets, helmet, tools and etc. Rules about speeding and stunting can be made clear. The point of this is maximum safety so that one mans mistake doesn’t tamper the entire trip.
3. Share Responsibilities: Sip from your own cup of tea
Since there are many people riding, there are many skills. Let the guy good with mechanics take care of what he is good at and let the professional photographer capture shots. The bargainer can do the talking and the budgeter can decide the expenditure.
Splitting responsibilities let everyone enjoy to the fullest as every role is performed by people who are good at a specific task; and thus at ease.
4. Respect the vehicle
This applies especially if you happen to ride a friends vehicle. Remember that this machine is the primary factor of your road trip and damaging it by rough use is a gesture of disrespect, especially if the damage is done to a friends property.
 5. Adapt to culture; Don’t be disrespectful
If you are planning on going to places for the sake of late night drinks and being noisy, make sure you don’t disturb other people since you are a guest. Travelling is wonderful when done for the purpose of learning and expanding personal horizons, but when you get distracted from that, travelling loses purpose and simply become locomotion.
I personally love that the youth is taking this up seriously and learning to discover themselves through travelling. I always encourage it. These tips, to me, are the thumb-rules for a road trip. I have learned a few things the hard way and and you should learn from it if you want to lead an awesome road trip!
If you have some experience with riding, I suggest you to start with he most cliched destination: Mumbai to Goa, or simply buy a tour package to a destination and hire a bike there. Personally, I trust BookMyTicket when buying the best tour packages in India and I haven’t been disappointed due to the articulate customer service, but a road trip is something different entirely.

Hotels that bewildered me during my stay
Throughout my travelling career, I have always looked forward to undergo new experiences. New places offer tons of adventures and cultures to explore and I always believed that’s all I can get: New places and new cultures. It wasn’t much later that, during my trip to Istanbul, I discovered that experiences come majorly from food too, and not just the places. Food habits speak volumes about a community and helps travellers create a very intricate bond with the place. Every time I taste a Menemen (Turkish style omelet), nostalgia takes me like a sudden wave.
Soon after, I discovered something just as brilliant as food. I spent my nights in different countries in generic cheap hotel rooms and I don’t have any complaints against them, but I noticed that when I went back home, I had nothing to tell my friends regarding my stays. It bummed me, so I decided I’ll spend opulently on my hotel stays if I must. My research began and I stumbled upon a hotel in France (my next destination at the time) that took me aback.
As time went by, I stayed at hotels that weren’t ostentatious like I initially wished, but radical in the most creative ways. Here they are:
1. Attrap Reves, Allauch, France
Tumblr media
Remember the hotel I stumbled upon? This is it. Attrap Reves is an unusually hotel, best known for its ‘transparency’. If you are a dreamer who spends hours staring at the ceiling, this bubble-of-thought hotel is for you. Yes, it’s literally a big bubble you sleep in. I was fortunate enough to have the sky clear for me during my stay. The price is not too much of a problem either(₹8,000 - ₹11,000 per night depending on the season).
 2. Jules undersea lodge, Florida, USA
Tumblr media
USA isn’t my favourite country except the flora and fauna embedded in its geography, but this hotel I couldn’t miss. Jules undersea lodge is a accommodating lodge 21 feet under the water surface. Certified divers can scuba-dive as much as they want but uncertified guests have a 3 hour training session before diving to the lodge. This is a perfect place for solitary peace and dining delivered to you by ‘mer-chefs’.
I did not stay here due to the price ($675) but spent a few hours here in the evening to get a gist.
 3. Hotel Kakslauttanen, Lapland, Finland
Tumblr media
To me, a magical phenomenon that has come to life is the Northern Lights seen from Finland. I can’t imagine dying before seeing the auroras fluttering in the sky, and I did see them from a Glass Igloo in hotel Kakslauttanen. This concept enthralled and didn’t have a chance to disappoint me. The rooms are a little pricey and reach up to €450 per night. Its worth it!
There are other accommodation options too such as lodges for families.
That’s it! These are all the worth mentioning hotels I stayed at. I understand that the prices are just as good as luxury hotels, but the experience differs like two opposite sides of the same coin. Don’t stop at my list because there are so many creative hotels out there, some so bizarre that people fret staying I them, but not me. I plan to stay in many more of such hotels and expand my horizon. Travelling is just so much fun!

Why I think a Travel Insurance is Absolutely Necessary for a Travelling Career
My travel insurance has helped me many times in the past and if you are a serious traveller like I am, I strongly recommend you getting one. The most expected questions follow up: Why? What are the benefits?
When travelling intensively for a few months at a stretch, unpredictability as to unfortunate events is very high. If you happen to be away from home at an unknown place, enjoying your travel and living in the moment, the worst thing won’t be if you injure yourself or lose a baggage but not being covered from it. In case of a mishap, travel insurance secures you up and covers your expenses.
Before you get a travel insurance, you first need study. Each travel insurance company has different policies regarding the losses or mishaps they will be covering. Most policies are precise and ensure covering a very specified situation, should it happen. It covers most international countries, takes care of stolen valuables, flight and hotel cancellation and medical attention. That’s a pretty good deal and investment for a traveller like me – and anybody like me.
There are many important things a good travel insurance covers. Here are a few:
Loss or damage of electronics
Emergency evacuation to the hospital and your home country
Loss of valuables such as jewelry, luggage, important documents
Last moment cancellations of reservations or bookings (air ticket, hotel, transport) in case you cannot go due to sudden illness, injury or death in family.
Not all travel insurance companies cover all the things listed above. You must choose the best based on your preferences and requirements. Since you now the few most crucial things covered here, it’s just as important to know what a travel insurance doesn’t cover:
Accidents met due to participation in extreme sports or dangerous activities voluntarily.
Irresponsibility or lack or attention towards possessions or valuables
Alcohol or drug related accidents or mishaps
Money
Conditions you bear prior to getting a travel insurance and general check-ups.
There are several more things that will and will not cover, but they wont fit in this blog. Another precautionary measure will be selecting a trust worthy travel and tours agency in India to help you with your trip. Personally, BookMyTicket is my preference as customer service is guaranteed with them. You can make your own choice. Don’t hesitate to get a big coverage limit, but not unnecessarily big: $100,000 is an adequate coverage limit. Remember, this post is for serious travelers who spend many months a year on the road. Be wise.
I have been covered innumerable times, like when my bag was stolen and when I couldn’t take my flight to Paris because I was struck with fever at the last moment. It is not certain if a travel insurance will help you, but the future isn’t certain too. Don’t let a mistake put your travelling career at stake.

My Train Travellers Guide for a Safe and Enjoyable Journey.
During my early years when travelling was always alongside my parents, I always sat on the window seat in the flight. Our travels were fairly frequent, mostly covering Northern India and we seldom faced inconveniences during the journey. Things in the Indian Railway, however, are different.
I still enjoy flights to places far away from home. There is very little to worry about when relaxing in an airplane when flight attendants become your babysitters - all you have to do is press a button to get their attention. They are always polite and patient, because they are trained to be so. In a train, on the other hand, the scenario is different.
My first train journey was a 32 hour long one from Mumbai to Kodaikanal. The journey has stuck with me even ever since. I recall having the greatest good nights sleep in the train and waking up to a scenic view outside the window. Luckily it wasn’t noisy that morning. The chai wala came by and I was awake. I suddenly wished there was a train to every destination on Earth, but that would be a little frustrating and tiring when I think about it.
I soon began booking trains to wherever I went in India. I was cheaper and more people are amiable compared to flyers. I said ‘more’, not ‘all’. I have certainly had some experiences on the rails I wish I hadn’t and the risks are disheartening especially when you enjoy it as much as I do. Follow these tips to avoid adversity when travelling in a train:
1. Bags always packed
During long journeys, it’s tempting to take your things out and leave them scattered in the train. You clothes, toiletries or food. Remember, this isn’t your room and no body knocks before entering here. Before taking a nap or going around, pack your stuff and keep everything secured. Thieves are prevalent in trains.
2. Make relations
Chances are there are fellow travellers in your compartment. Make conversation with them and become relevant to them. This helps you judge the kind of people you are travelling with. If you get along, they will look after your things and vice versa; its good to make friends anyway.
3. Carry your food
The trains have catering services, but they are not always trustworthy. Several instances have surfaced regarding sanitary issues in food. The last thing you want is getting sick. If you’re a foreigner, gravely consider this advice. Tea and snacks are always safe.
4. Keep a track of where you are
Stay alert, especially when your destination is around the corner. Nobody is going to come and tell you that your station has arrived.
5. Keep toilet papers handy
Cleanliness in the train toilets isn’t promising and going to the loo can be challenging in a moving train if you have no prior experience. Toilet papers come handy at such situations. Also don’t forget to carry a bar of soap or hand-wash soap. Essential toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, cream and etc. is mandatory.
6. Center-pocketed vest
Find a center-pocketed inner vest or get one stitched that has a pocket in the center at chest level. Use this pocket to stash your money. Keep atleast ₹5,000 carefully wrapped in here. This vest will keep your emergency money stored away and its unlikely for looters to find this compartment. Since this vest has saved me from a bunch of adversities, I cannot stress the importance of this enough.
These few tips are subtle necessities that can save you from much trouble. You never know what trouble you find yourself in on a train. It’s just as threatening as it is friendly! If you’re careful enough, your journey will be as pleasurable as any other - or perhaps even better. So don’t be afraid to book a Train Holiday Package, instead embrace the wonderful experience.

How I learned to dodge the peak period flights on long trips
Ever so frequently, I receive e-mails and read news about prices rising due to the approaching peak periods. For a traveller like me - who spends a month sketching out budgets and routes - news like that muddles up the whole plan. Where will I get the funds from? And where can I cut short my expenses to compensate for the pricey flights?
The last few year, my urge to travel was unbelievable, even to myself. I had travelled to many countries over the past few years but still my heart wasn’t fulfilled and so I designed a travel route with specific dates in 2017. I had already travelled a large portion of Northern India and wanted to go beyond. The forests and culture of Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh were heart warming but I yearned something different.
Among my oldest whims I found 2 cities that surfaced before the rest: Paris and Istanbul. I developed interest in Paris after I returned home from my vacation there at the age of 12. While I was there, everything was bland, opposed to how I feel now. It still wasn’t too late! The lifestyle and the language is anything but repelling.
Istanbul is a different world altogether. The Islamic styled architecture blended with modern infrastructure gives a charismatic shape to the city which is extremely pulling. The food of Istanbul was another incentive for me to visit. Numerous blogs I’ve read commend the meat intensive local food of the ancient city. The photographs I saw online did the job of beckoning me.
Now that my excitement was augmenting, the next moth I spent planning, searching, routing and planning. I was going international after all, and a fixed budget allows constrained flexibility. All my costs were drawn and things took comprehensible form. I was settled and opened an internet tab to book my flight ticket. For a few minutes, I stared at the screen trying to compose myself. I tried with another, more preferred website called BookMyTicket, but the prices were only a little cheaper.
The air prices had all changed. Paris was planned for April and Istanbul for late July and my visa verification was done. The increased fares meant I had to cut on my expenses while travelling, even shortening my trip and missing on things I couldn’t miss! I instinctively tried to find out why the prices had risen because I was sure it wasn’t because of high demand; the flight was for next month. I did find out pretty quickly and laughed - how did I miss this? It was the peak period. I was visiting Paris during Easter and Istanbul was scheduled during the peak period too. The answer was rather simple: I was visiting Paris during Easter and July is the peak period for Istanbul. I did the most obvious thing: I switched dates. Voila! Now in the same budget, I went to Istanbul first and then Paris.
Surprisingly, many travellers frown over the prices and simply go ahead, but the answer is very simple. Rescheduling the trip and cutting down expenses was difficult for me, especially because my budget is always so tight. For each country, there are a few peak periods you are advised to avoid to save money. However, if you must go, there are hacks to cut costs. Book a flight on a weekday and a month in advance; usually the costs are lower. Booking a return non-refundable is also an option but a little risky. Coming back to the point, I enjoyed my months travelling, just at different dates.

My Views on Hiking Solo: An Adventure-trek Guide
I can’t remember when I fell in love with the mountains. Since childhood I have been visiting these tall structures, sometimes with family and other times with friends. There is no joy greater than scaling the muddy trails on my feet; so to go a step further, I once hiked the trail all alone in Himachal Pradesh.
My friends and I planned a trek to Chandrashila Peak in 2013, concluding to embark the trail sometime around October. Perhaps it’s customary for people to drop plans at the last moment, but this time it was everybody - except me. I was determined and too excited to withdraw! I did my research, studied the map and read many blogs about this trek to decide if it’s a good idea. Luckily, it seemed doable. I bought loads of trekking equipment's and set out with 19kg of weight on my back only to realized I did not need most of the things!
Tumblr media
There are many things to consider before you go on a solo hiking trip. If your desired location is remote, like Himachal Pradesh, you will indispensably have to instill my experiences and guidelines before you start. Solo hiking has advantages such as:
l Freedom: You decide yourself and choose your day’s plan. The freedom helps a climber become responsible.
l More help: You are more vulnerable alone, but other people feel safer when a solo traveller approaches and may help by sharing food or giving you a ride.
l Absorb more: Walking in the woods alone lets you be one with nature and absorb the experience.
 … and the disadvantages:
 1. Higher risk: If you get injured or lost, you are in trouble. It’s important to stay calm, patient and alert. Always inform friends and family of your routes.
2. Wildlife: Remote treks have wild animals that don’t mind approaching solo travelers. Book a Domestic Hotel if the area is not safe.
3.Shorter trek time: Since you have to cook and set up camp on your own, more time is consumed permitting lesser time to cover distances.
Though solo travelling is exciting and unbelievably beautiful, one needs to be healthy and determined. The biggest challenge is to conquer the daunting fear. I would suggest that if it’s your first hike, have some company. If the trek is too extreme for you, there is no shame in booking a cheap flight ticket online home; it only means you need to work on your fitness .
My personal views don’t do justice to the real experience and your own research is crucial. Be sure to read many blogs and watch subject relevant videos to be completely prepared, as the points mentioned in my blog are my opinions. Whatever you choose to do, be brave and voyage on!

5 Lessons Mumbai Reminds You Everyday
Mumbai has always been an intimidating figure; almost merciless. Life here at large follows no pattern and tumbles recklessly like waves in a storm. But a closer look can unfurl some of the most beautiful lessons a city can offer.
This morning when I took a train to work, I couldn’t help but despise being a Mumbaikar. I didn’t want to be in a rat race Mumbai was, living too fast and acting too slow. Nothing pleasant about Mumbai came to my mind when I pondered. Why is this city so heavily lauded?
Such poignant smells and crowded streets. Exploding traffic jams and a only a few hours of sleep. Sky scrapers for the incredibly wealthy and poverty infested slums.
But when I go deeper than the surface, I see something pithy. Perhaps what I see is the reason why this city still functions despite its crumbling walls. There are a few things we all can learn from the city that never sleeps:
Tumblr media
1. It’s okay to dream big
Everyday, thousands of people move into Mumbai, the repercussion of which is over-crowding. However, thousands of dreams come in with these people, many of which never come true. The action, still, manifests the strength of hope and determination people have regardless of how superficial it may be.
 2. Tolerance is human
A little tolerance is the cornerstone of this city’s mechanics. It takes ardent levels of understanding to live in this city as the odds are faced by each one, all alike, and to be together is the only was to live at all.
 3. Imperfection is beauty
Far from consonant, Mumbai is a distillation of arbitrary chaos. Yet, one always notices an essence of harmony thriving throughout the city that resembles a beautiful stream after a crashing rain storm. The mess that Mumbai is shows, even at a personal level, that grace is conceived from imperfections.
 4. There is unity in separation
Diversity makes Mumbai. People of many different religions, regions, colors and professions live here together. Like brothers, they flight sometimes and hold grudges but always manage to remind themselves that they are in this together; That every crossroad brings them back to themselves.
 5. Everywhere is here
There is no need for International hotel booking when everywhere is at home. A competitive place like Mumbai teaches you to be resourceful while providing almost anything one needs. Its a home to businessmen, artists, workers and so on. To work for what you want is the city’s lesson.
I pondered further, and suddenly it all made sense to me this morning when a stranger in the train stood up and offered me his seat.

My childhood recollections from the City of Light called Paris
I was watching a movie before leaving my house for my flight with my parents. “There are movies on the airplane” they said, “hurry up”. I was 12 at the time (2011) and utilized my mini-screen during my flight to the fullest, oblivious of the place I was landing in. Though I was a child, not even the slightest curiosity for this new land buzzed in my mind.
Tumblr media
The first memory of Paris I have is of me waiting in the Eiffel tower queue. I had never seen such strange people before with different skins, languages and statures. Their customs seemed strange but not uncomforting. Standing under the giant tower, anticipation took over as I became restless. When I finally reached the top, I was all but mesmerized. Swarms of people flooded the tiny top-floor terrace. My height wouldn’t allow me to catch a good view and the darkness didn’t cooperate either. Maybe this place isn’t as good as they told me, I thought to myself.
Now I often recollect, and when the rippled memories settle I realize my folly. Perhaps I was too young to understand Paris; or the traveler within me wasn’t born yet. I faintly remember the Kaleidoscopic window in the Notre Dame and awe at it despite my dispassionate approach in the past. The glass pyramid of The Louvre seemed prepossessing but the paintings didn’t awaken any kind of fascination in me. Now that I study art and have contrived a taste for it, the Louvre is a shrine to me; almost a chimera since cheap international flight tickets have become a rarity. I have come to realization how much I missed when I had the chance, but no one is to blame for my impassive attitude towards this city.
Now I travel much more and avoid old mistakes. Upon introspection, I have drawn conclusions as to why; and perhaps it was because when I was 12, I sought for astonishing wonder in imagination but as I grew older, I recognized the wonder in things that already exist: diversity and culture, plants and wild life, all forms of art and innocent everyday regularities. It jolts my laughter that common worldly phenomenons arouse as opposed to childhood dreams, contrary to traditional beliefs.

My 2400 km road trip across India
Road trips look like fun in movies and shows, but what is it like in real life? It’s much better! My road trip from Mumbai to Leh Ladakh helped me further expand my horizon of understanding.  Greeting new cultures and people every day can create love in you and turn you into a happy, humble soul. I hope this gist of a story inspires you to hit the road and spread a peaceful message.
The trip happened in 2015, after I finished my 10th grade board exams. It was difficult to override the study-preparation rhythm, so my dad decided to take me on a road trip, hoping it would make lighten my mind from the exam stress – he took my from Mumbai to Ladakh by road.
A total of 5 states were covered. We started in the early morn. Gujarat was out first stop but a destination in itself. Here, we visited Junagadh to watch lions in the wild. The following day, our excitement drove us beyond pragmatism and we travelled the entire night, careless about sleep; but soon took a long nap when fatigue. The aspect of endurability was now surfacing. We drove across Rajhasthan that night – through the night desert. It was beautiful.
Likewise, we slowly made out way through Punjab, visiting the golden temple while there. Never before had I experienced such cultures as I drove from state to state. Anywhere we might be, online hotel booking helped us get a nights rest we deserved. It is easier to find the best hotel prices that way.
Far up in the northern hills, our car was crawling over the ghats. We had entered Himachal Pradesh. Situations where the engine wouldn’t spark because of low levels of oxygen and nausea attacks due to exertion came by; it was tougher than imagined. During the ghat passes, the car travelled a mere 100km on average – per day! On reaching Leh on day 8, we visited several monasteries and felt the Buddhist prevalence that lingered. The geography resembled no other in India and the culture had taken sharp turns too. We spent one night at the Pangong Tso Lake and rode the 2-humped camels at Nubra valley before turning the steering wheel towards Mumbai.
The experience cannot be put into words. Every turn was better than the last one quite literally. The cultural mix up of India is laudable: each new state has its own traditional food and customs, set of beliefs and respect for one another. My trip was a 20 daylong journey from ignorance to bliss. Travelling is truly a healing-tape to humanity; and I believe when people travel, they learn to value and love

Places Worth Visiting While They Are Still There
I have traveled ever since I was a child. My family vacationed to many attractive destinations and we had plenty of moments to smile about. When I started travelling alone, I met people and explored cultures and ate traditional food. One day it occurred to me that culture may live for many hundred years from now, but what about the landscapes and the high mountains? Will the oceans still be blue? Will my dream destinations be underwater or destroyed before I visit them? Deforestation, pollution and such other exploitation are only doing bad.
The news is upsetting, but I must hit the hammer while the iron is still hot and travel extensively. These three places are on my Must-Visit list because they seem to have very little time. Be sure to visit:
1.The Great Barrier Reef - Australia
Tumblr media
The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space! This gigantic area is full of kaleidoscopic life. It is indeed dismal that more than half of it has deceased already. Visit these prepossessing waters and spread awareness to save the life that blooms within it. Find cheap flight tickets online and fly here as soon as you can.
2.The Amazon Rainforest - South America
Tumblr media
The flora and fauna here is prodigious. With immense biodiversity, this place attracts people who have profits in their minds without the vaguest admiration for the forests aesthetics. There have fewer trees and several extinctions every since. This forest makes 20% of the words oxygen and is a home to about 10 million species. Be sure to visit before its too late.
 3. The Maldives
Tumblr media
Maldives is one of the most popular tourist destination. Tourism is so significant for this island nation that without it, its economy would crash. Unfortunately, global warming is causing the sea level to rise, slowly drowning the island. Equipped with amazing luxury hotels and sumptuous food, this is a perfect vacation destination. Contact your tour operator for the best holiday packages.
It is wise to utilize while you can. These beautiful places need more attention and the world more awareness about the condition of them. There is time to save the beauty of these places from extinguishing if we start taking care of the environment with urgent attention. There are several other breathtaking destinations like this one that are on the verge of disappearing. Plan your trips quickly!

A conversation with a travel enthusiast
Talking to traveler is one of the best things to do because they never run out of things to talk about. Many voyagers have different stories and reasons to travel a mere peek into their lifestyle can get you engrossed.
“I believe that travelling is the greatest kind of education one can practice, and that the hobby overrides all other qualifications. I think so because travelling makes me and several other traveler like me happy. The feeling is exasperating.”
These were the near precise words used by Mrs. Sharma, a client we had at BookMyTicket during a casual conversation. I am not an avid traveler myself, but I do have a taste for the road and occasional vacations. Working in this field with a tours operator, I’ve seen many different types of traveler. Some do it to live to the fullest and enjoy while others travel for business and commercial purposes. To me, the best kind of traveler are not those who love nature or those who prefer the first class seats, but those who prepare well and do things right before travelling. Procedures like passport application, visa verification, global flight tickets, online hotel bookings and much more, when taken care of prior to the travel, results in the best trips.
During the conversation with this humble man, I asked him about the backstory that sparked the enormous flame for voyaging.
“As a child” he answered, “I used to travel with my parents. Our family wasn’t a travel enthusiast pack. We went out for a few weeks during summer. I think I was the only one who had the locations and the views embedded in my mind, and I used to think of the vacations often while the others got on with their busy lives. We didn’t have big budgets and stayed at cheap hotels and depended on discounts on domestic flights and trains. Now that I am financially independent, I travel much more and I am truly enjoying it”
There are thousands of people like Mrs. Sharma who spend months travelling. In recent times, travelling has become easier with offers such as all India tour packages and even international tour packages. BookMyTicket is one of the best tour operators taking care of traveler even during the trip, which is why traveler like her prefer to work with this company.

Travelling is easy - when done right. Travelling begins with preparation and study, in which there can be no mistake. This is why having a professional team involved is a very wise option.
Travelling is the best way to grow. When this expansive world is within reach due to modern transportation services, it is very tempting to use them and have some fun. Even though travelling is such a customary practice - in a global context - many tourists are still not familiar with the procedures that go into travel preparation. The best deals never cross them and they lack knowledge of the place visited, which is indeed the cornerstone of tourism. Despite these common and trivial blunders, travellers enjoy their vacations every time. It would, however, be much better if they were prepared or sought professional assistance.
There have been several cases of people getting stuck in another country, not being allowed to fly, missing baggage’s and hit with penalties because of lack of knowledge of foreign and domestic transport formalities and requirements. Though these cases are rare, you should always try and be on the safer side.
