Thinking about how the loser’s club are all 78 right now. I bet they're all really cute old people, | feel like Mike would be one of those old men that look really good for their age and Bill would look absolutely chopped, just bald as fuck. Mike gets people telling him “You don't look a day over 60” all the time and if Bill blinks too long someone calls an ambulance. Richie and Bev are those old people who never lost that playful spark in their eye. Mike is now a relatively famous historian who has published a book on the history of Derry in detail (as much as possible without mentioning It cause obviously no one would believe that) and is currently wrapping up his book on black history in Maine which will be so well researched he will become incredibly highly regarded in the historian world. Eddie (alive btw) has the newest iPhone and is very proud of it despite barely knowing how to work that thing. Stan (also alive btw) complains about his granddaughter asking him for financial advice but actually loves when she comes to him about it. He gets in trouble with his daughter and Patty because he will just start giving her money like “buy yourself something nice you’ve earned it :)” when she's a barista who plays games on her phone on the clock. Ben is one of those old men who likes to just sit in the park and often has kids come up and start talking to him because he looks friendly. He’s always nice to them but tells them not to talk to strangers.

Apparently some people don't know the Dan's 18th birthday lore so.
That was the day Phil posted Space Adventure and Dan spam commented every video and then tweeted this:

So yeah he was hitting man with "I think I'm in love with you" on June 11, 2009- the day he turned 18 and before they ever spoke. Had zero chill from day 1 but his stalker rizz pulled amazingphil so we can't fault his methods.

Happy Pride month to all the gay folks who should still be with us but were lost to AIDS. So many of them had (and continue to have) huge impacts on the world, despite their lives being tragically cut short.
Since this is primarily a Muppet blog, I wanted to take a moment to talk about Richard Hunt.

Richard Hunt was a gay man and a fantastic puppeteer who started working with Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, and company in 1970 at age eighteen and joined the cast of Sesame Street two years later. While working with the Muppets, he originated the characters of Scooter, Beaker, Statler, Sweetums, and Wayne, but also became the primary performer of Janice and is responsible for the flower child personality she is now known for. He was also known to be a fantastic singer.
But maybe most importantly, he made so many people happy. According the book "Of Muppets and Men" by Christopher Finch, Hunt "seems to get more unadulterated pleasure from performing than anyone else in the organization. When he is not working on camera, he is apt to have Scooter or Beaker or Janice -- anyone -- on his arm for the purpose of entertaining... He makes the crew laugh, jokes with the guest star, clowns for the shop personnel. He is one of the chief reasons for the loose atmosphere that exists around Studio D despite the pressure and the slow pace that are endemic to television production."
Hunt died at age 41 due to AIDS complications. The Muppet Workshop made a panel for the NAMES Project AIDS quilt in his honor. The Richard Hunt Spirit Award is presented every year at the Sesame Street wrap party to the cast member that best honors Hunt's generosity and dedication on set.
Rest in peace Richard. Thank you for the laughs and the smiles, and happy Pride 💛
