Back home and straight into the Pacific with @kim_kovel . Even when it's sloppy it's still sublime, especially when the water is 60. #oregonsurf #indianbeach #clouds #waves #sublime

While in Yangshuo, China in 2009, @mikecall and I had the brilliant idea of taking a hot air balloon ride to capture the beauty of the area. Mike assured me that the balloon pilots understand the air currents and have the balloon completely under control. That was a lie. Once airborne, it turns out, the balloon's flight pattern is completely random, which is why vans called "balloon chasers" rally frantically around in the roads beneath, following the balloon's random path. During the flight, we came within inches of colliding with one of these karstic limestone features, which would've been really, really bad. Alas, we survived and did capture some epic imagery before crash landing in a rural cemetery. @flavorpaper #travel #yangshuo #china #hotairballoon #climbing

Thank you @rachelcgallaher for the kind writeup in @gray_magazine about my large scale work with @flavorpaper . And thank you @cbaileyspeed for sharing this photo with your followers. The overwhelmingly positive response has prompted me to share it with mine. Next stop #brazil

My very good friends (and of course my better half) enjoying a peaceful moment at a beach cafe halfway between the climbing in Tannourine and Beirut. I've had a lot of good adventures w these cats, but #Lebanon breaks all the records. My first trip to the Middle East has been an experience! Thanks to the local climbers @g.emil @ranicharbel @ynot_d for the Lebanese hospitality and especially @jadkhoury for also helping me out of a major jam. Thanks @wilburgers and #radorg for facilitating excellent route development. Lebanon and the climbing in Tannourine should be experienced by everyone wanting the total #travel #climbing #culture package. Very civilized indeed. @cbaileyspeed @bookofsamuel @andrewbisharat @kayla_elias @pablo_durana @abazrr @vicesports
