Print available here. My mother once told me a story about Audrey Hepburn, how when she was still a broke undiscovered actress hustling for work she needed a wardrobe that was both budget friendly but gave her the kind of sophistication she needed to impress directors. Her solution was to buy a small number of the best quality clothes she could afford in black, and then bought a ton of cheap silk scarves in different colors and patterns. Everything went together and a different scarf every day made her wardrobe seem more varied than it was.
The spirit of Ms. Hepburn’s idea is at the core of my capsule collection—a foundation of neutrals onto which any color can be added as one’s budget allows.
Items shown:
#4 pencil skirt with arrowhead dart
#33 “kasha” knitted sweater
What the hell is a capsule wardrobe?

why the fuck are we still not obsessing about this movie. Like in all seriousness we can stop hating on twilight now. Don’t get me wrong it was fun at first but now we have actually good and fun vampire movies to watch.

Alice and the Talking Flowers by Emily Choi
it was a huge honour to be asked to contribute to Nico Colaleo’s Alice in Wonderland 150th Anniversary show last night at Meltdown Comics in LA! One day, I hope I’ll get to actually be able to go to opening night. There were so many amazing artists who participated, I’m so glad I got to be alongside them!
I decided to put a Korean twist on the Alice story; I have always been fascinated by my culture and wanted to somehow let that shine through my work. I hope it pleases the eye! Each of the flowers represents a flower native to Korea; mugunghwa (rose of Sharon, aka Korea’s national flower), Korean Pulsatilla, and Forsythia Korean Nakai.

okay, okay, hear me out:
what if the boy who lived was the girl who lived? scruffy tomboy harriet “call me Harry” potter, getting extra rubbish from the Dursleys both from being a girl and being the wrong kind of girl
and absolutely nothing in the entire 7-book series changes except for pronouns. because girls can be brave and imperfect and angry and sulky and loud just like boys can.
(except a girl harry would room with Hermione Granger and the Patil twins instead of Ron and Sean, but that’s literally the only thing I can think of that might change)
