A is a sizeshifter stuck tiny and B finds them some place incredibly random (in a parking lot, out on riding trail, stuck in paddle boat). B thinks they're a normal tiny and rescues them, coddling them and also getting slowly closer to the point that they feel free to tease A.
Eventually A gains the strength/freedom to shift larger again and they flip the tables, growing extra big to tease B lightly.

Oh to be a tiny living in a human’s abundant garden. You barely have to sneak into the house to get food, all of it is right there for the harvesting. Of course, you have to careful to not grab a noticeable amount, but how could you complain about that with the wonderful view from the ground and barely having to even deal with the human.
Sometimes you watch the human when they’re tending to the garden, staying just out of sight. Watching their gloved hands dig into the earth with ease, pulling out a root vegetable that would have taken you all afternoon in mere seconds. There’s a flutter in your heart— your instincts tell you it’s fear, but perhaps it’s something else.
Better you stay beneath the blades of grass for now, though. The human may have looked nice, watering the flowers with such care, giving their pet cat a nice scritch below the chin (nuisance as the cat was when it came to navigating the garden)— but there was a reason tinies were never supposed to get caught. Surely this human was no different to the rest of them… right?

earlier today my brother was telling me about a story he wants to write and he mentioned that he wanted giants, but he wanted them to be a specific size and proportion to the tiny characters because he only likes specific interactions and if i had any advice on it. so there i was, an absolute perfect expert on this topic, and did want to help my brother out, and also absolutely did not want to explain why i know so much about giants. i said “i think the borrowers had a 1/12 size scale. you might be able to google it” and handed him my vape as a distraction then immediately changed the subject to dinosaurs, which he eagerly talked about for 10 minutes

𓍊𓋼 Character Introduction: Christopher Lynch 𓋼𓍊
Mostly going by Chris, he’s a 20’ tall Jotnar - which is about average height for his race. His main job is carpentry, and he makes plenty of little things just for the sake of having around the house. But when he has free time he helps around his father’s tavern, or otherwise goes foraging - identifying and collecting nearby plant life to use for herbal treatments like teas for sore throats, salves for sore muscles, etc. When he’s in the kitchen he’s a mean cook, making both healthy and tasty dishes. Too bad for his diet he likes mead and sweets more than he likes trying to be healthy, but that doesn’t mean he can’t put someone in a headlock if they’re acting up.
The oldest brother out of the two, he tries to be mostly responsible and is practically minded, and has a habit of looking out for others to an almost fussy extent. But he also has to tease - especially with the little folk. To be perfectly honest he finds them adorable, but he’s not about to admit it. Or let that on to a total stranger if he comes across one he doesn’t know yet. Not until they’re better acquainted, at least. In his mid 30s, Chris has already started to need glasses to see anything too close to his face, making it common for him to pull them out when he’s talking to fairies for longer than a few minutes. At his size the little folk are far too small to even see clearly half the time without. Or at least their faces certainly are.
Last but not least to note is his intrigue - and very nearly obsession - with magic. It’s said by some that the Jotunn had their ability to use magic taken away. Cursed to be unable to practice anything of their own, and limiting them to use what they could find around them in the form of plants and animals. To this day, Jotunn magic has been reduced to alchemy and potion brewing, and it has been for hundreds of years. There’s very little research on why or how, and the mystery has gnawed at the back of Chris’s mind ever since he first learned of it. Someday, he’ll find the answer. And when you know exactly what a problem is and why, you can work to reverse it.

Wild conspiracy theory
50% of the GT community is run by actual tiny people to find out which humans you can trust for knowledge of their existence, as well as creating a backup plan for themselves in case they get revealed.
It's probably a good writing/RP prompt too idk

My bud here asked a very important question: why Tobias stole a very sacred and important book?
The short answer is: because Tobias has a curse and he wanted to find a cure.
OMG HOW- calm down, first things first.
As I said before, when Alex and Elisa started to take their relationship more seriously, Alex would hang out in the Colony using a shrinking potion and preteding to be an imp. He was well accepted as one by Elisa's fellow imps and fairies and they never had many problems with his disguise.
But there was this one, powerful, envy fairy who took notice that something about Alex was... off.
Tumblr media
She started to do her own investigations and ended up finding the truth out: Alex was no imp, but a human in disguise. Although, to her, this was actually very good news.
Tumblr media
Why? Because this fairy - Irwalia - comes from a family that has been preaching an ancient propecy over a century now. Said prophecy omens that, one day, a being with the strongest of souls - a fairy soul - and the strongest of bodies - a human body - would be born to free the Colony from it's decades of war.
There are a lot of fairy families that preach this prophecy till this day, but all of them are taken as delusionals by most of the Colony's inhabitants. It's impossible to have a being that has a different soul from it's body, it just can't happen. But they hold onto their beliefs firmly regardless.
When Irwalia learned the truth about Alex, she couldn't help but be ecstatic: she had finally found a human inside the Colony's walls. And, if SHE was the one who discovered him first, then she must be the one meant to give birth to this prophetic child… right?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In a vengeful and spiteful spirit, Irwalia decided to not report Alex to the Colony's authorities, but instead take her anger out on what the human and his imp wife treasured the most: their only child.
Tumblr media
Alex and Elisa didn't took long to find Toby, afterall she wanted to take her revenge in front of them...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Irwalia cursed Toby with something that not only breaked Alex's heart, but made the child defenseless if he ever encountered a human: if in close proximity to a human, Toby is completely unable to do any kind of magic.
This may not sound like a big deal, but imps, especially imp borrowers, take great advantage from their magic abilities to protect themselves from the sight of humans and their malicious intents. And, of course, Toby would never be able to obtain his full magic potential (which he has a lot of) around his own father.
Aside from all that, his hair is now bright blue, a side effect of the curse that makes it difficult for him to hide from humans and dangerous animals.
Toby grew up not being allowed to leave the Colony EVER because of his curse. So when he became an adult, after getting involved in a lot of trouble inside the Colony, being the little thief and vagabond that he is, he thought-
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, he never had the chance to actually seek a cure for his curse in the book because he was discovered for his theft before that, yeah, it was all kind of pointless, he truly sucks at hiding.

Huh, I also wonder why it worked...
