FUTURE OF BORROWLET:
Hello everyone,
I thought I would be a little more open about what was going on with the account.
I made this blog way back when my life was, to put it lightly, not going so well. I needed something to bring some light back into it, and my friends recommended that I made a blog about my favorite story so I could finally talk about some of the analysis I had of it that was lingering in the back of my head. So I did, and I genuinely enjoyed running it. I'm in a much different place than I was back then. Things have, surprisingly, been improving steadily. It's still not great, but it's better than it was.
I don't really know what to post about anymore. Ever since what happened the other day where I was in a pretty bad mood, I don't really know what to do with it. I suppose I did not say the worst things in the world in hindsight (just sort of misremembering things due to sickness and I suppose everyone makes mistakes), but I feel bad regardless. I am sorry.
So, um, yeah. The future of the account is really up in the air right now. I don't quite feel like posting my photography anymore, and I have no further analysis to share at this time. I'm sorry if this is disappointing to anyone... The main reason why I was so happy to start a blog in the first place was so I could help other people feel happy. I don't mean to extinguish that happiness. I feel like I've betrayed the purpose of the account to an extent.
I don't know if I'll come back to Tumblr, I gotta think about it. Regardless, I hope that I added something, whether that be through the analysis, the photos, or any of the other posts I made.
I hope all is well with everyone.

For all of you: Arrietty's director, Hiromasa Yonebayashi, has a Twitter account, to which he's posted concept art + recent art relating to Arrietty.
Here is the link.
I found it through a post made by the Ghibli Museum circa 2020.

*no spoilers, please!!!!*
I haven't had a ton of deltarune time recently due to work, but I played like 15 minutes of the new chapter and I adore the new guy! The tall one!!! He's so fun!!!!

People are actually interested in my writing??? 😳😳😳 Okay!
I don't know how long it'll take me. This idea has been floating around my brain in some form for like, ~8ish years so I think it will be quite difficult.
I have to narrow it down to the stories I really want to tell.
I hope you will all like it, if I ever do get it off the ground. It's cute for the most part. The world can be a hard place to live in, so I want to cheer everyone up somehow.
Thank you all for your support!
I was thinking about writing a short story collection with a small protagonist
think like, an episodic cartoon series with an overarching plot
something a lot more lighthearted than borrowers, but doesn't avoid darker, more complex topics completely...
I don't want to reveal too much ahead of time...
What do you guys think?

Issun from the game Ōkami. Based on the Japanese Fairytale of "Issun Boshi" (same story that Shinmyoumaru Sukuna from Touhou Project is based on, if you know her (or her epic theme) at all!) Thought you guys would appreciate him :)
#borrowers#borrower#hahaha when I was playing through the beginning of this game I started squealing when I saw him#I had known about Issun Boshi offhandedly for a while so I was just really surprised to see him referenced#Also... I have NOT played all of Ōkami yet! NO SPOILERS PLEASEEEE!!!!#Don't let this be like Deltarune for me where I tried to dodge spoilers until the spoilers found ME....

Another life,
A new desire screams
Another day,
A fresher sorrow beams

I also don't really know what to write about now. I am in a much better place than I was when I started this account, and a part of me just wants to go off and live life, then only post when I'm inspired.
I haven't stopped thinking about Borrowers/Arrietty, quite the contrary, I just dunno which of my theories I should post about anymore....
I notice a lot of people on tumblr have a name separate from their handlename that they want people to refer to them as...
For the time being, I guess call me borrowlet? It's the name I chose for myself after all
My apologies for the inactivity, i've been running around these past few months~

i keep thinking about it
Seriously, if you ever have the chance to go to another country, not on vacation or anything like that, but with the intention of learning about the intricacies of the culture there and what life there looks like, DO IT!!!!
It's the closest you will ever get to leaving an underfloor, folks...
Going to another country was my metaphorical leaving the underfloor
seriously. everything is different, but also familiar.

i had a dream about this once
it wasn't playstation, though, it was a PS2 game.
in my dream, it took place in the middle of nowhere and if you tried to climb anything or get to a higher place, the soundtrack would start blaring at full volume until you returned to the ground. everything was polygonal and warbly. I don't remember many other details.
I think the worst thing about Arrietty is that if it had come out 10 years earlier we would've gotten a tie-in Playstation game and it would've been excellent
